Why Friday's game vs Memphis is of huge importance....

Post#1 » by dream_catcher_9 » Wed Dec 9, 2009 5:55 am

After the Memphis game we have this schedule leading up to Christmas....

vs Cleveland
@ Denver
vs Dallas
vs Detroit
@ Houston
@ Lakers
@ Phoenix

YIKES...

and with the way Memphis is playing recently even they aren't a pushover. Now will we lose all of those games? Hell no we will win at least 3 more games before Christmas, just not sure which ones. But the players need to be real focused these coming weeks or we could be out of the playoffs race before we knew what hit us.

Predicton at Christmas break? 14-14, 3-5 from now until Christmas.

Let's hope we take care of business at home, I can't really see us taking any of those road games.

Of all the road games on the list. The Thunder might have a shot @ the Rox. It will be hard considering this Rox bunch have been playing hard nose defense and been giving teams some fits on the boards. If the Thunder can somehow do a better job boxing them out for those boards, play better man to man defense, and come out the gates with energy on the offensive end. They may stand a chance.

I think they beat Memphis, lose the first three on this list, then beat Detroit and Houston then get stomped on by the Lakers and Phoenix.

So I think the Thunder are looking at 3-5 as well over these next 8 games.

I forgot about Detroit. W/o Rip and Tay. Can't underestimate them however. Lok what happened with the Nuggets. Melo scored around 40pts and they still lost. They haven't beated the Pistons in Detroit in 14 yrs now.
