I'm not worried about casspi. He is a good shooter, I think he can get it worked out. What I don't understand is guys who have been good free throw shooters missing their shots every night.
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.

I'm more worried about the Kings' three point defense ever since the Memphis game. I have trouble paying attention to all the moving parts of a defense when I'm watching basketball, but I'm guessing that no one on the team is on the same page on their defensive rotations. I've watched Sergio Rodriguez, as the defender, running away from the offensive player a couple of times.

Hopefully the defense will improve when we get players back so that we don't have to put Donte Greene on Dwyane Wade.

It's the PAUSE in his motion that's killing his FT stroke. His movement is fluid, then STOPS and then shoots. He just needs to make it one full complete motion and everything else looks fine.

Its the same thing with spencer, it looks like he has a hitch in his motion. He is doing it on his jumpers too, which IMO is why most of them have been coming up short. That didn't happen last year, he shot the ball very well.

We've got one of the bst shooting coaches (Coach C) in the league - makes me no so concerned with Cassipi's FTs (or Evans' jumper) when you have such a fantastic teacher there on the bench.

Ya I've noticed the hitch with Hawes too. Weird. Especially with his threes, anyone notice his new scissor kick ala Vince Carter.

He's made 10 of his last 11 attempts. What a great game against the Wizards. I like his game, a lot. He can do a little bit of everything. He'll be a very important player alongside Evans down the road. You guys have a nice young core.

His stroke appears MUCH more fluid during that stretch as well. The hiccup that he had while shooting appears to be gone, and thus better FT shooting.

i really like omri....he can definately develope into a better version of peja......maybe not as a threepoint shooter (well.....more like assassin...cause come on....he was) but he could develop even more than peja considering omri can dribble penetrate, he gets rebounds and plays hard on defense.....2 things peja has, and was, never known for......lets also notice his size.....omri is 6'9 to peja's 6'10.........love it that in the future we are gonna have one of the biggest wing rotations.......beno is 6'3, but evans, martin, cisco, omri, donte, noci......they are ALL 6'6+ in height......very nice to have wings like that makes for a very versatile rotation IMO

That's going a lil bit too far, don't ya think?
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

if you read what followed I went into detail on how i meant when i said develop into a better version......not of him per se but a better version of the SF position.....cause casspi has the potential to do so much more than peja ever did for us....which was provide crazy scoring numbers and three pointers...

wait...isn't omri leading the league (or rookies) in 3pt %?

His point is valid and well taken.

Omri - right now - is looking like what I had hoped that Turk would turn into for us when he started here. Similar to Peja in size and scoring ability (not quite the pure shooter, but more verstile SCORER), but with a nasty toughness and multi-skill game that Peja actually lacked at basically the same size. That toughness and agressiveness will ultimately make him a BETTER player than Peja if he continues to develop - in the same maner that Turk has ultimately been a key player on a Finals squad.

but with more quickness going to the basket than turk....on his rookie scounting report it says omri has come into the league as a slasher type player....so assume that to be his stroong suit ;) talking about how good these guys can be really gets me excited about the future of the team...petriee should be considered this years GM of the year...talk about the PW sign at coach and sorrounding him with cuality assistants.....that has made all the difference...
