Great quote by McHale

Post#1 » by cpfsf » Fri Dec 11, 2009 4:20 am

:reporter: :reporter: :reporter:

Joakim Noah didn't appreciate LeBron James' dancing last week and it is unlikely last year's MVP would get away with doing that 20 years ago.

"If a guy was doing the Riverdance like that, coach would come over and say, 'Who's got the fewest amount of fouls of my big fellas?' " said ex-Celtic and TNT analyst Kevin McHale. "If you raised your hand, he would say, 'We will let him drive and then we will throw him on the ground.'

"When he is laying there we would say, 'Do you feel like dancing now?'

"And that pretty much solved the dancing problem."

Do we need a thread on every little thing a non-Wolf says or does?

oh crap, a mod

If you really look at our forum it's draft talk, gameday threads, power rankings (including rookie rankings, NBA power rankings, and how we compare to NJ), trades, OT stuff.

Franchise knew how to keep his ego in check! klomp is letting it get to his head, the man's losing it!

If Noah doesn't like the dancing he should do it, although fines and suspensions come along with flagrant fouls.

^^^what he said, you cant do that anymore because they will fine the **** out of you and hand out suspension. Easy to do back in 1985 when they wouldnt do anything about it

I miss 1985. Actually I did miss most of 1985 because I was in college at the time and doing things that affected my memory.

Yea. You certainly can't do that to a Lebron James either. If you do you have to be extremely careful and make sure it doesn't look malicious.

I hate Noah and enjoy watching Lebron. I'm all for a little showboating, but that being said, Lebron is getting carried away with that garbage, I would have liked to see Noah lay him out.

It's about time someone has the balls to call a spade black... :D

On the Flip-side: I wonder what kind of dance Rambis did before McHale laid the hammer on him in the day...?? Maybe he simply "Eye-Gogged" Kevin before the way-lay... I assume he wasn't much of a dancer :o

Somebody should knock longhaired, mouthy prima donnas on their arses too.

In fact, I think the NBA would be far better with more arse-knocking.
