Pacers Future Lineup?

Post#1 » by pr0wler » Sat Dec 12, 2009 10:41 am

Non pacer fan here. From what I've seen from them so far, how would this rotation look like?

PG - Ford/Watson
SG - Dunleavy/Jones
SF - Granger/Rush
PF - Hansbrough/Murphy
C - Hibbert/Foster

Let's be honest here, you guys aren't going anywhere right now. But, I see a lot of young talent that could be developed for the future so why not throw them out there and see what happens? I don't see how Hibbert and Hansbrough are any worse than Foster and Murphy, and they've both shown flashes of potential so why not give them big minutes and let them develop? Foster and Murphy are past their "prime" and are backup players. Dunleavy is a scoring machine and should be starting. When Granger gets back you have a very young and talented lineup that could be a contender in a couple years with either an elite PG or PF.

I'm perfectly fine with that line-up but I'd switch Watson and Ford. Rush and Murph should definitely be coming off the bench. Gotta remember we're dealing with a below average coach.

Another PF wouldn't hurt either considering this draft is full of them. But I think PG needs to be addressed first.

I would also add AJ Price to the rotation. I've liked what I've seen from him.
