Banks and O'Bryant are worthless. Larry Brown is all about defense, Calderon and Bargnani play none and are soft as tissue. Bargnani is not a good fit here because of Diaw. Pretty obvious, no need to explain.

The only good thing about the trade is losing Diop's contract. But we would get back two bloated contracts attached to 2 soft players, so yeah, uh, this trade sucks.

So you would be good with a deal like that as a Bobcats fan? I'd love it from a Raptors perspective and I think my fellow Raps fans would as well.

I would do this too for sure. It would also allow us to play Bargs at PF soemtimes with Nazr at C. Where do we sign?

So is Augustin "hard?" He doesn't play any defense either, and Chandler, be honest, is horrible. So yeah, we take on long-term salary, but as so many on this board contend, we will never be able to use cap space if we DO get it, which we won't, because of the long-term deals we're already locked into. So why not turn one awful contract for a BAD player into an awful contract for a GOOD (though not great) player like Calderon?

Bargnani is 24 and having his best season as a pro right now. He's probably not going to be Dirk Nowitzki, the way he was once projected, but he could still become all-star caliber if he continues to improve. He's not a great defender, but if he were on this team he'd immediately be our most efficient scorer next to Nazr... and if there's one thing this team STILL needs, it's scoring.

Yea, and Larry Brown is a genius coaching wise. He can easily hide Calderon and Bargnani's defensive woa's. As a Raps fan I'd definitely accept it. I should post the trade on the trade board and see what Raps fans think cause if I post it on the Raptors forum it'll surely get locked.

Knowing Larry he'd probably play Bargnani and Calderon 10 mins every other game and Give 30mins a night to better defensive players like Diop and Law.
