I have Tyrus Thomas when he returns b/c we bootlegged an IR.

I know if I take on Monta, I'll lose TO's every week. But I'll also be a killer in stls and points. FG and FT% probably go down in that trade too.

I'm in 2nd place so I don't want to rock the boat TOO much, but I feel this could put me over the top. Oh... and if he counterproposes with Kidd for Monta straight up, would you do that? That was his initial offer, actually.

How big of a hit are you taking in the rebounds department. It seems that you are giving up substantial rebound numbers.

Well that's my concern. But I'd be looking to make this trade based on a) The rebounds that I'll eventually get from Tyrus and b) the likelihood that Dalembert won't keep on doing what he's doing. Still, I think the rebound hit is potentially troublesome, especially in the short term.

What do you think of Kidd for Monta straight up? I know value wise Kidd is the better player, but for my team? My worry is that I'd miss his 3's.

One thing I like is that you'd be getting rid of Dalembert, he's played well as of late but in 10 games with Speights his averages were:

23.4 mpg
6.2 ppg
6.8 rpg
1.8 bpg
49% fg%
78% ft%

I figure that whenever Williams gets back that'll shift Iguodala to the 3 meaning that to get Thad his minutes he'll see more time at the 4 which in turn could prompt Brand / Speights to play more C further cutting into Dalembert's time...

So... Off the top of my head I think you win value wise... Too lazy to try and figure out how this works fit wise but the drop off in 3's probably won't be too bad as Manu is replacing Dalembert...

Tyrus doesn't get you many rebounds compared to your standard PF.

I like the trade because I expect Ginobili to shake off the injuries and finish the season top 60.

Your FT% will go up, and your FG%'s won't take much of a hit.

I say take it.
