I'm at about 1.64 now after doing well lately... my highest in a while. Last time I was that high I got arrogant and bet too much, thus falling hard... now my idea is to bet 10 cents a time as long as I'm in 1.00-2.00, then 20 cents in the 2.00s, and so forth exponentially.

My bets tonight:

Parlay: Dallas/Indy Over 201 - Milwaukee/OKC Under 198. I like the Dallas game to be full of 3s and with Marion back the Mavs will be running more. Buck are having trouble incorporating Jennings/Redd and OKC is a perimeter d team.

SACRAMENTO (-4) over New Jersey - Line would be fair if this was in NJ... at Arco it's too low for a solid team vs an 0-15 one
um wat? sports betting's "answer" to online poker is....the availability of online sportsbooks.

I would go NJ + the 4 at Sacto tonight.
Also like Milwaukee + the 5 at OKC.

Well I don`t play online poker but I assume theres a lot of sites where you can register and play with internet not real money instead of putting up your own. For people to play just for fun
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

Sorry, but centsports is lame. Unless you're like 14 and unable to put actual money on the line, I see no reason why you should be investing time choosing lines for mere cents. I tried centsports before I began real betting, made it up to $29 in a month...realized cashing out is a hassle, so gambled it all in a couple real sketchy bets, lost it, then stopped altogether.

Play proline or find an online sportsbook and gamble your money that way. If you're not ready to open your wallet to these, throw $10 down and play like $1 a card. You'll find the swings and interest in the game much greater.

Can anyone tell me something, other than the fact that the Texans have played the Colts close, as to why unbeaten Indianapolis is only a 3 point favorite over Houston? Unless Vegas is trying to make their money on the dog here, I'm struggling to find reasoning behind this.

I don't know if this has been mentioned here but, there is a cool (free) app, called sportsbook. It gives you 10,000 dollars of fake money and let's you place bets. Basically a dry run before you start spending real money. I've loved it. As a beginner, its taught me a lot of things.

If I've ever learned anything from gambling is that gambling with fake dollars is nothing nothing nothing at all like gambling with real dollars.

I guess in sports betting it would be, but I've done that crap in the stock market before and made 100,000s in play investing it in real stocks.

Also, I do believe that the Portland Cavs moneyline is a good bet tonight.

Sure I think that the Cavs will win, but they've been slumping, and Portland is 4:1 on your money. I would bet Portland not due to the fact that I think they will win this game, but because I think this bet has a positive expectation if run 1000s of times.
