Re: Minnesota (3-20) @ Sacramento (9-12)
Love is averaging 13/12/1blk playing with a slightly injured but best Center in the league in Jefferson avg 16/9/1. Love had 19 rebounds against the Lakers the night before against know Bynum, Odom, and Gasol (Gasol topped him with 20) while Jefferson only had 13. Love is going to have a great career and will contiunue to develop his offense (he only gets #2 big guy right touches right now). If Minny didn't already have an allstar big in Jefferson Love would already be some teams #1.

I'm on the Love bandwagon myself. I'd trade Thompson for him straight up if the deal was offered.

I like Love but he doesn't really excite me as much as Thompson. I think Thompson is much more versatile than Love.

the arena was stil empty. i think it's time for the Kings to really start thinking about moving the team to somewhere else. Please don'T bash me, but i care about the Kings, not Sacramento, and Sacramento folk seems either too cheap/or too uninterested to attend to games...

Way too early pull out the "Kings need to move" panic. Need to wait for the economy to stabilize and for the team to show more consistency before going off on that tangent. The franchise is still in the dog house in the community. Also, average attendance is down almost 4% league wide. The Kings are suffering much of the same fate as many other teams in the leagues...especially those that have mediocre to bad teams (like the Kings).

Yeah, I think it just needs to be given some more time. I think it should start to get better very soon, as this team is at least quite good at home. If we can get back to where we were in 07-08 attendance-wise, that'll be a step up. Logically, I don't see why this team, if healthy can't be as good as that team.
But also, regarding this game, it's not as if the Timberwolves are a big draw.

Move them to San Jose! To the HP Pavilion! Home of the Sharks. This is Sharks territory.

By the way, I hope Rambis is just giddy about the choice he made.

I am a huge Love fan, but I would keep Thompson. He is just an KG level competitor every single night. He can make stops and has some late blocks and Love is just not there yet. Love will have a great career but so will Thompson. Look at the old bigs that are still playing like Duncan, KG, and Dirk they are all skinny big guys because they can usually have longer dominant career than the bigger guys like Webber and Shaq who is getting outproduced by Hawes. Petrie was brilliant in putting together the core he has full of tall, active, athletic players that will be a match for the Lakers in 2 years.

Agreed. I would rather keep Thompson, but I would easily trade Hawes for Love.
