Pretty much agree with everything from that list, I can't think of anything else that could go up for the vote right now off the top of my head.

Pretty good Cammo, +10 on that inverted tri at Bellator, that was insane. I was more impressed with Aldo's double knee more than Hendo right though. I also got to say Jackson's camp is making a strong comeback I would vote them as camp of the year with Blk House a very close second.

Aldo's flying knee and Hendo's KO I went back and forth over. Jackson's won this last year, but they have not been as dominate as Black House this year. You can thank guys like Aldo, Anderson Silva, dos Santos, Big Nog...for Black House winning. Jackson's had a great year as always, but Rashad lost his title in ugly fashion, Cerrone lost to Bendo, and Jardine continues to be up and down.

Very nice list. I would add Fedor's knockout over Arlovski to the list of best knockouts.

I wouldn't give "Best Fighter" to Machida. His 2009 record says 3-0, but he was really 2-1. GSP dominated both of his title defenses. He made BJ Penn, the biggest gamer in MMA, quit. Alves supposedly had the size and skills to contend with GSP that nobody else had at 170 and he was humiliated for 5 rounds. I'd probably also give it to Aldo before Machida even though he was lacking on names. He absolutely murdered all 4 guys he fought.

Give me Nog/Couture over Sanchez/Guida, too. The excitement was through the roof for Sanchez/Guida during the first round, but it kind of died off after that. I loved every second of Nog/Couture.

I got no problems with the rest. Especially Hendo KO'ing Bisping. That was beyond epic with all the build up.

It was down to Aldo or Machida. Aldo only really fought one top tier guy though.

Aldo trains with Nova Uniao in Rio, not Black House. AZ Combat is actually a Nova Uniao affiliate.

It looks like maybe he splits time between the two. I've read both places listed as where he trains.

I think that spinning backfist from Bellator should be in the running for KO of the year.

Personally, I liked Aldo's double flying knee better though.

All the other ones I'd pretty much agree with, though I'd give GSP the nod as best fighter. Even though he only fought twice, he beat BJ **** Penn (top 4 PFP at the time), and Thiago Alves, who was the clear #2 WW at the time. The way he did it counts as well. Pure domination.

Machida beat Thiago Silva (nice win, but only borderline top 10), Rashad Evans (probably #1 LHW at the time, or #2 to Machida's #1) in impressive fashion, but then closed out the year with a very close decision to a guy most people didn't consider a real threat. A win over Shogun Rua still looks nice for anyone, and I could see why Machida might be considered fighter of the year, I just think GSP has a stronger case.

I too was impressed with the spinning backfist but that was on one of the guys I train with (Estevan Payan) so I didnt want to bring it up, but that was mad sick. He was out on his feet, then he hit the mat so hard he woke back up, the funny thing is to this day he claims he was never unconcious.

Aldo is 100% Nova Uniao, he is cornered by Andre Pederneiras, and other NU Blk Belts, he even flys the "U" on his shorts and his sponsorship banner.

That is weird. I wonder why he is listed in more than one place is being part of Black House?
