Camby trade rumors

Clippers coach Mike Dunleavy won't confirm or deny trade rumors involving big man Marcus Camby.

A recent report claimed that various teams where interested in Camby, who is owed $9.1 million in the final season of his deal.

"Marcus has been great," Dunleavy said. "We have a lot of guys that have a lot of interest from a lot of people."

Camby is averaging 8.4 points, 11 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game this season.

Where are those 11 rebounds and 2 blocks and 8 more points a game going to come from???
I'm a huge Camby fan, and would hate to lose him.
I will just keep hoping that Dunleavy is gone long before Camby.

Griffin would be able to do that i think... but i say keep camby to help develop griffin defensively.

We're still in the hunt for the playoffs and don't even have Griffin back. I love how Camby plays and what he brings to this team. There's no way I want him traded

I don't think that Camby will be moved, and if he is moved, it will be after Griffin returns. Teams are not going to give us fair value for him. Contending teams aren't going to give us much, because they'll need anything of worth to contend. I'd rather see us let him expire than to take on inadequate value.

I don't want him gone either, because no one else will hustle for the ball like Camby does. We are a very lazy team. Bring back Jaaaaaaames! :curse:

Camby is the epitome of Heart & Hustle. If anything we should trade that stiff wearing #35.

I disagree, Camby is so lazy, wouldn't even defend 3pt shooter and that how we lost to the lowly rank Knicks.

He should against guys like Troy Murphy and Dirk. His man-to-man defense is kinda subpar, but his help defense is really good.
