Tyreke for Billups

Post#1 » by havlat » Sun Dec 13, 2009 1:27 am

I'm being offered Billups. My instinct here is that this is a great deal for me, but I just wanted to make sure there wasn't something I was missing (resting Billups down the stretch? Evans going to get even better?)

Thanks

He will get better, just not in Sacramento, when Martin comes back, he will definately dcrease in value.

DO IT.

This is a no-brainer as Tyreke's value is going to plummet once Martin comes back.

Tyreke's value will not plummet upon KMart's return.

Sure it will take a hit, but not to the point of his sample of games at start of year.

I'd still take Billups over Tyreke in a heartbeat.

Having said that, Evans will finish the year top 55 overall. Willing to place an over/under wager.

Evans' value will not plummet when KMart returns as some have suggested. Not in my opinion anyways. I think it might help his assists having a sharpshooter like that on his side. They will make it work because Evan is the future in SAC.

That being said I would take Billups for Evans in a heartbeat. I've been trying to get Billups in my league but the cost is BRoy and that's just to rich for my blood.

Tyreke was playing poorly at the beginning of the season, K-Mart when out and Tyreke moved to the 2, then Tyreke started playing better. When Martin comes back, Tyreke will probably be forced to go back to the 1. I would trade him for billups.

...He's been playing the 1 for an extended period of time now. Unless, of course, you think that Donte Greene is playing PG.

Doubtful his value plummets when Martin is back. It's just as likely he plays even better with Martin since:
a) Having a scorer/shooter like Martin playing next to him gives him a better chance for assists
b) Having Martin means defenses can't completely collapse on Evans' drives, giving him more room to work with.

Evans is good but you take Billups over him everytime unless it's a keeper league.
