And please keep your imaginary trade ideas off this thread - use the trade thread for them. Proposing trades versus discussing the feasability of trading for Camby are two different things. Thanks

He wouldn't play enough to make a diff.

Has he ever come close to 82 games played?

If he could be had for cheap then I say we pull the trigger. I'd start him next to Bosh then have Bargs come off the bench.

Would have no problem trading for Marcus if it's possible. He can score a bit, grabs boards, and is still a good shot-blocker, what isn't there to like?

Any imaginary deal we make for Camby won't involve Calderon.

pretty much, the only way we'd be able to trade Jose for Camby is if we take Baron too. I personally wouldn't have a problem with that. Camby's 9mil expiring convinces me enough to invest in Baron.

Jose, Amir (exp), Wright (exp), Banks (exp next year) for Camby + Baron

Baron/Jack
DeRozan/Marco
Hedo/Weems
Bosh/Evans
Bargnani/Camby - Or bring Bargs off the bench

Camby 9mil expiring would be able to give us a head start to FA if Bosh walks, or it can convince Bosh to stay as it lets us to bring in another key piece

guys were not getting both Camby and Baron for Calderon and scrubs...unless our scrubs are Zack Braff and Sarah Chalke, we aren't getting them for those guys. It would be cool to pick those guys up for Jose and expirings, but I don't see that happening.

Our team would be legit though having Baron who used to be a steal machine and Camby who used to be a defensive machine...key word here though...used to be, maybe not anymore.

we're not going to get Camby on a "large" expiring without giving up pieces. doesn't make sense for both teams.

that is why i think my imaginary idea for a trade might work

There is value in getting rid of banks and huge value in the camby expiring contract.
