Maybe Sasha is Traded Tomorrow?!?!

Post#1 » by shrink » Mon Dec 14, 2009 7:52 pm

... OK, well maybe not, but at least its finally possible.

On December 15th, and summer signing (after sept 15th) is eligible to be traded. On our team, that's:

Sasha Pavolovic
Ryan Hollins
Jason Hart
Ramon Sessions

Of course, these also could be included in trades with any of our other players. even as balast to salary-match.

Well, I don't know what the point of getting our hopes up with the thread title was but oh well..I didn't realistically think that Sasha would be traded anyways. He's on a 1-year deal though right? I'm kind of curious though to see what, if any, deals Kahn will make before the deadline. I'd be scared to make trades based on clearing salary and gaining assets because that could make this already horrible team...gulp...worse. We'll see what happens though. I think we're a better team now with Kevin Love and now that the 4 games in 5 days is over I think we should be able to grab a couple W's depending on our upcoming schedule. All that being said, I still expect the "always active" Kahn to make some moves during this season.

Maybe we've been showcasing just how bad Sasha is for teams looking to tank this year? Could we swing him to the Nets for one of their big guards? Sasha would help guarantee the worst record in the league for them. And we'd get Lee, CDR, or TWill as a potential big 2 to help with our backcourt.

Get er done Kahn!

The title makes it a little more exciting than saying, "Under the current rules of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, players are eligible to be traded after three months, or by December 15th, whichever is later."

We bash on Sasha, but keep in mind that he's every bit the expiring that Blount, Cardinal or Damian Wilkins is. He only hurts us when we're dumb enough to put him on the court. Maybe Mark Blount could use a roomate?

Finally, does anyone else get the feeling that we really could see something tomorrow? I have nothing to base this on, but I feel like David Kahn has just taken these three months to catch his breath after his summer flurry of trades. Players were assessed, and now its time to go back out and trade.

I'd actually tune in to watch at least the first episode of a reality TV show starring Sasha and Blount living under the same roof. I have a feeling there might be some entertainment value there.

God, I hope Sasha is gone. If he gets traded for a few rolls of athletic tape, then Rambis will stop being tempted to give him minutes instead of Ellington.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

can we just invent a 4th round pick that we could trade him for? if so I'd offer Sasha Pavlovic to the Seattle SuperSonics for their 2010 4th round draft choice.

Here's an exciting way to watch tonight's game ...

See who doesn't get in.

If Kahn has a deal in place for 12:01 am, he may sit players involved, so they don't get injured and mess up a trade.

It's too early to trade Sasha, his potential is immense, if he goes to another team and becomes a SUPERSTAR(not nessasarily a basketball star) it will get Kahn fired.
