Why not give acie law some burn

Post#1 » by truthbtold21 » Sun Dec 13, 2009 3:58 pm

I mean seriously, with what ive seen from dj and flip, it cant get much worse, the man played well when he was in atlanta, when he got mins.He can finish with both hands plays solid def,so why not see what we have with him, because lets be honest right now flip and dj look horrible.

I've been thinking the same thing. It would be worthwhile seeing what he's like before letting him walk at the end of the year.

But I guess they get to see that at training.

I thought LB was going to give him a chance when we traded for him, he seems like a real Brownian PG....

- tall and/or good defensively
- pass first
- can't shoot

Eric Snow, Mark Jackson, Ray Felton etc.....

I was wondering what the hell happened to him as a Hawks fan. I thought he was out of the league, the guy needs some confidence. If he misses his first 2 shots he will not even look at the rim and you guys will be playing 4 on 5 offense. Quickness is his asset cause he had no problem getting to the hole on just about anybody, his jumper is broke though.

That's funny because at Texas A&M the kid was a cold blooded assasin. It seemd like nothing ever phased him as he hit massive shot after massive shot.

It won't be funny when you see it, the polar opposite of the type of player I thought we were getting on Draft night. Everything you described was the same thing i was raving about until he put on the Hawks uni. He is 1 of those players who's game just didn't transfer over from college.

there were reports that his assists numbers were inflated by the scorekeepers at texas A&M. it really explained why he was so bad as a point guard in atlanta. teams just sagged off him and dared him to either shoot or force a pass that he couldn't make.
