Offered Tyrus for Scola

Post#1 » by Gus McCrae » Tue Dec 15, 2009 7:06 pm

Should I?

Higher 0-rank for TT, and I want the steals and blocks, don't need rebounds or points. Just want to make sure he wont be a total dud when he returns. Should i pull the trigger? wait on it? thoughts?

You never really know what you'll get from Tyrus. I'm a Bulls fan, and believe me when I say that it won't be Taj Gibson's play that keeps TT off the floor. That said, Tyrus and VDN have never had a good relationship, so minutes could be inconsistent. THAT said, VDN is a dead man walking, so who knows what the situation will be with the new coach. If it were me, I wouldn't do that trade if I were you, even with your pts and reb's surplus. And I'm a bigger Tyrus fan (fantasy-wise) than most.

Okay that's good insight, especially from a bulls fan. I'm guessing the Knicks rumors are dead also ?

The Knicks claim that they were never interested.

I definitely wouldn't do this trade. Scola plays too big a role on a decimated Houston team. There is too much unknown with Tyrus IMO.

Absolutely no on this trade.

Scola is playing like a stud and has no injury history that I know of.

Thomas is the biggest tease in fantasy basketball.
