This was just likely generated for more papers sales (atleast for now :D ).

Normally I'd agree with that and you very well might be right. Usually tho when LB starts complaining to our local rag something will happen pretty darn quick. Jordan/Higgins said just the other week they were looking hard to get LB some depth at the 4.

Correct, Lee's contract is for one year, but it is for 7 million dollars. We are talking future contracts in which Lee gets 10 million dollars as opposed to what his contract actually is, 7 million dollars.

Bonnell on his blog:

I'm told the Knicks inquired about D.J. long ago and there are no active discussions regarding that. But -- regarding the Knicks -- it sure is interesting how Jordan Hill can't get off the bench.

We also said Jax was NOT coming to Charlotte...about one week before Jax actually came to Charlotte.

I think the FO really dislikes that rag and maybe even Bonnell in particular. It's like they get major joy out of putting egg on his face.

Remember a couple of years back when Bonnell posted that we wouldn't be trading for Richardson...and in about 3 hours time we did exactly that?

I tried a few scenarios now in trade checker with Robinson&DJ but because of Nate BYC status it is really hard to make a trade without the third team involved.

For now I found only this 3 optionsthat go through:

Robinson&Jeffries
FOR
Augustin, Mohamed, Ajinca

Jeffries and Mohamed salaries are the same.

Robinson&Jeffries
FOR
Augustin, Mohamed, Brown,Graham

Robinson&Curry
FOR
Augustin, Diaw, Law

There is no way in hell I would trade DJ for Nate freaking Robinson and the three trades suggested above are all beyond horrible for the Bobcats.

BEYOND horrible.

Pretty sure LB doesn't like Nate.

I do not think the Bobcats would take on Curry or Jeffries in any deal, but the core of it, Nate Robinson for D.J. works great for both teams.

I don't think Larry Brown wants Nate back, thats the only problem I see.

Like I said earlier--the time to make a deal was in the summer. With Raja gone I'm not sure there is any match.

What exactly do you think Augustine's value is in the league? He has been playing terribly this season. You guys have a good young PG already, Felton. If you plan on keeping Felton, Augustine has no place on your team, and that will be held against Charlotte in a trade.

His value is as of right now considerably lower than his draft slot and will only continue to fall until he plays better. So if you want to trade him right now, a deal of Nate Robinson for Augustine is fair value.

Well, to move to another team, would DJ fit Nellie ball? Because I know a lot of Bobcat fans on RGM think Randolph can play Bobcat ball.

Post an Augstine for Anthony Randolph trade on GSW board. I shudder to think what they would say to you.

But what goes thru the mind of a GSW fan is not what counts. It's what goes thru Nellie's mind that counts. And no one knows what goes on in that mind except Nellie. And sometimes I am not sure if even he knows what is going on in his mind!

After dec 25th trade deadline is waived, trade checker5326688 will work.  :o :o NYK send Nate Robinson and Lee to Charlotte for DJ Augustine and Diaw.
WHY for NYK?---the big prize is Labron next year and Diaw and DJ fit better with him than LEE and Nate. Take my word for it the NYK are going to be a contender by 2011.
WHY for Charlotte---Lee is on last year of contract and Nate hates NYK coach D'Antione more than Brown and will agree to the trade for playing time---Lee can be signed along with Felton and Nate. Law can be traded or released at end of season
Felton Nate AC
Jax Henderson Flip
GW Graham
Lee Brown Ajinicia
TC Nazr Diop
Awesome sarting lineup that will win with good back ups and probably 6-7 seed in east in 2009-2010 seaason. Solid scoring rebounding 4 in Lee as PF for years to come which will only make TC better

They already have Ellis and Curry - not to mention Watson.

Can't see them needing DJ.

Nate being a Bobcat would make think a lot about finding a new favorite team.
