Welcome Back, Tracy McGrady!!!

Post#1 » by Mr. E » Wed Dec 16, 2009 12:45 am

I'm going to forget all the negativity! Welcome back to the Houston Rockets, Tracy McGrady!!!

I can't wait to see how he reacts to a role off of the bench for a while. Hopefully that knee is feeling good.

Yeah, shocked by the news, definitely interested to see the crowd reaction, and how he plays most importantly.

I hope that they don't boo him. I understand...I just hope that they don't do it.

Of course, I am an annoyingly positive person, I'm told! ;)

I'm really surprised since the earlier wiretap said that he wasn't an option. I've been waiting for the Rockets to give him another chance. Hopefully he surprises all his critics.

New year, clean slate.

Tmac I welcome you. Please play well so we can ship your ass to another team for their disgruntled star.

Adelman is saying limited minutes in the first half to see how he's doing.

Its weird. Adelman just said Tmac won't play and now he's getting some burn. I think Morey is pressuring Coach into playing him. Tmac's suitor wanna see him walk properly before they think about pursuing him.

There are some reports out there that Pat Riley is watching this with considerable interest. Could we be shopping McGrady to South Florida tonight?

Holy ****. I just finished school a couple of days ago here in Austin. I would've gone home to Houston to watch the game if I had known Mcgrady would play tonight. Is the game broadcasted online anywhere?

I hate to say it, but McGrady lost his spot to a white boy.

Like your team & future is bright for these young squad when T-Mac & Yao come back. If you look at it from the bright side, this team progressed through the injuries on major guys for long stretch and shown how tough team has became last year in that LAL series. Puts effort nightly bases & has a will not to mention what a pitbull type of team this one is. When T-Mac gets better & Yao comes back. Oh baby **** WILL HIT THE FAN! I wish you guys a luck. Stay positive. Things will get better!

T-mac looks rusty in the short spurt. He need time to integrate with the offense. He will only get better.

He looks slow and rusty, but you can definitely tell he still has it.

Hopefully he can get quality minutes and show the world he is capable. I'm not fully throwing this guy out like some of you. And still rooting for him for All-Star game.

Will be interesting to see the minutes distribution when Ariza comes back.

I assume it will be something like this:

Hayes / Anderson
Scola / Laundry
Shane / Budinger
Trev / T-Mac
Brooks / Lowry

I'd even do Trev off the bench as 6th man backup to T-Mac and Battier.

Does this board have some insiders?

I'm curious to know if this T-Mac-to-MIA talk is real or not, I saw some guys saying the reason why HOU played him tonight is for HOU to grant Pat Riley's request which is to see if T-Mac is in shape. They also just waived Shavlik Randolph.
