Good game guys. Like I mentioned on another board, I think tonight was one of those nights where both teams started out sloppy and the first team that pulled it together won.

Just got home. Few observations:
Great game by Joe.
Inconsistent effort from Josh.
Mike Conley has really improved.
I thought the Grizzlies waived the white flag too early (put in Steven Hunter).
I thought the Hawks reserves sloppy ballhandling was going to blow the spread, but didn't.
Memphis seems to be at that point where they have a lot of young talent, but are far more dangerous at home than on the road.
It looks like Demarre Carroll inherited Mike Miller's teenage girl hair. Actually made me wonder if they make him wear it that way as a form of rookie hazing.

lol. On the DeMarre thing, he had the hairstyle b4 the Grizzlies got him. Otherwise, good game by the Hawks. I figured their athleticism would be a key to their win. Would've been good if the Grizz put in more effort on both ends. See ya Feb 9th.

This game worried me because your playing yourselves 2 years ago basically, if Memphis can somehow squeeze into a playoff spot out West i believe they can give somebody a run for their money and grow like we did. Oh and i remember DeMarre Carroll from that very good Missouri team that made it to the Elite 8 last year. Yes, that hairstyle is self-inflicted. Can't blame Memphis for that one.

Did he wear a headband as a barrette there as well? Wild hair is one thing but that headband trick screams demur young girl to me.
