Washington (7-15) @ Sacramento (10-13)

Post#1 » by a-rod » Wed Dec 16, 2009 8:25 pm

The Washington Wizards may have suffered agonizing defeats in each of their last five games, but they’ve done nothing but win recently against the Sacramento Kings.

The Wizards will try to snap their five-game skid Wednesday night by adding to that dominance over the Kings.

Washington (7-15) sealed its latest loss, 97-95 at the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night, when point guard Earl Boykins(notes) turned the ball over with four seconds left.

“I just lost the ball,” Boykins said. “It was that simple. I saw Brendan (Haywood) open up under the basket, I went to make a pass, and I lost the ball. It was a game where we didn’t execute at the end. Whenever you lose a one-possession game, there’s other possessions in the game that lead to that. We played good, but we didn’t play well enough to win.”

PW decision to limit the starters' minutes the first night of back-to-back's one of the reasons why we lost last night, We'll see what happens tonight...

Must be true, if it's a rumor you read on Hoopshype.

Tyreke is the only guy I can see who should've gotten more minutes. Jason played 40 minutes, and the rest of the starters got as many minutes as they earned.

I hope their legs aren't tired from last night. They've got a big game tonight. That should give them energy.

Which would you rather do? Win the first game of a back to back against your biggest conference rival Portland. Or win ON NATIONAL TV against the Wizards. If the Kings stink tonight they likely get blistered by ESPN all year and get no TV games next year either.

The Portland game would have won 1 battle, but the National game wins the NBA war for TV time.

True. I hope this team comes out pissed at how the game turned out last night and tears Washington apart.
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.

I hope our guys don't get nervous on national TV. We should win, but you never know with this club.

Evans is already the 2nd best PG in the Pacific Div and should be a top 5 PG in the NBA very soon.

We're making Jamison look like a prime-Shaq. As many have said, it's clear our biggest weakness is no interior presence on the defensive end.

Good to see people in the seats. Maybe beer should always be $1. Pabst all around!
