Because he has got no post game. All he can do is stand under the basket and wait for the offensive rebound. He's ineffective at the defensive end of the floor as well.

He held us in the game for a few minutes last night but that wasn't because he did well. Just because no one else was hitting anything and he had lots of opportunities to grab offensive boards.

Honestly if you watched the game you would have seen how lucky Jawai got. He was standing directly under the hoop and 3 different times the ball just fell into his lap. He didn't box out anyone, or do anything remotely good, the ball just went right to him.

Yeah, Jawaii must have slipped Rambis a rufie or something. That's the only explanation really.

That goes for you too, J2J.

Jawais potential ceiling in this league is as a 9th or 10th man. Nothing more....Just because someone gave him the nickname Baby Shaq, does not mean he'll become the next Shaq.

Starting 5? Let me ask you this: who would he start over? Jefferson, the cornerstone of your franchise? Or Love, the guy who has been the single reason there has been improvements over the past weeks.

Don't make rash judgments on just one game. If that was a case, Pavlovic might be a hall of famer...

Well that clears that up. I was starting to get concerned.

Has anyone else ever fallen asleep on the couch fully dressed, then wake up the next morning in your boxers, in bed? Happens to me all the time, and not always after I've been drinking. AND I live alone. Freaks the crap out of me. If I'm slipping something into my own drink, I hope I was at least good. I'd be so embarrassed if I disappointed myself.

jawai blows. If he could catch he might be more valuable, or if he could jump, shoot, rebound, block shots..

he must get lucky a lot cause hes always grabbing offensive rebounds

Cuz he really lucks into getting the boards. He just stands there and he's so wide the ball hits him, then he fumbles it around and will get swatted 9 times out of 10. Something we don't like to see when it happens to Love, Brewer,Flynn all the time.

True, but it's on 46% shooting. which is pretty bad since all his shots are layups.

Ha Ha, this dude is obviously an Aussie, he posted this in the Rockets forum about David Anderson.

chrisbh wrote:Based on his number today and boards, why isnt he starting 5? discuss?

I'm an Aussie but i'm not about to start silly discussions about guys just 'cause they're from my country. We have more Aussie in the NBA than last year so i'm happy about that.
Just wait 'til Patty Mills comes back from injury for the TrailBlazers and this chrisbh will probably start a similar thread in the Portland thread
