Seeing this thread brought me more joy than the Wizards have all season.

Guys, I'm the first one to bust on Ji, but I think this one may actually happen. If so, there would be a vortex opening in a parallel universe and life here will never be the same.

Sure -- all the models are in pretty strong agreement that we're gonna get SMOOSHED on potentially epic proportions (all calling for > 12", some for 2'+!)...

but....

this is Washington, DC.

I can't help but think this will end up like the Skins/Saints game. The system churning in the Gulf is matriculating the moisture down the field, setting up for a gimme Field Goal... No way it can, could, would, or should miss...

but....

this is Washington, DC.

The storm will boot the ball wide East and head out to sea.

Man, this city has me jaded.

(then again, the Skins did fire Vinny today, so I suppose there is hope)

Latest model runs give us about 2 feet. Someone in the DC area will get 24 inches

I hear ya, bro. Did you see that I have a frickin patella tear in my knee? I wonder if I should have been suspicious of that Susan O'Malley Fathead in my orthopedist's office

1-3 inches tonight, 8-12 tomorrow. I'm suppose to be Annapolis tomorrow so I don't think I'd be able to make it to DC tomorrow. :(
