I like the ideas of posting the link to the page the trade was posted on, and the dates, should clear up some confusion if GM's bail.
Every time this competition slows down around the draft. After the top 10-15 picks, nobody really cares, because as unfair as it may be; these players are not in the NBA yet, and even if it's a later lottery pick, the majority of posters won't look at them so highly, because they're not proven. Then we have to start skipping picks, or assigning players, and that creates more confusion. I thought r0cd0gg did an admirable job, definitely give him major props, but something has to be done about the draft so the competition doesn't began to lose its zest at that point.
I also liked the chatroom aspect of this one, it's funny Booz, the one who started it, ended up flaking again. Maybe if we could get like a date in which majority of GM's can get in the chat, then we could finish up the draft pretty fast in one night (or at least one round). If you can't make it - we can stress lists, but that doesn't seem to be all that effective in the past.
In general, I agree with all the ideas klomp has suggested, would improve the game definitely.
