ATL | Week 15

Post#1 » by MikeIsGood » Thu Dec 17, 2009 10:22 pm

Thursday night game. Colts taking on the Jaguars. How long will the Colts' starters play? They're not pursuing perfection at all costs.

Last I heard the line on the game was Indy -3. Vegas must think the backups will see good minutes in this one.

I'm not so sure there. The Jags lost by 2 and had a chance to tie with a 2 point conversion in Indy on opening day.

Granted, we're much farther in the season and the records speak for themselves but the Jags with desperation at home vs. the Colts, who, even if they play their starters have in the back of their mind that these games don't mean much other than to maybe go undefeated...which they will probably bench their guys in week 16 or 17 anyways. Wayne and Addai are also banged up.

Plus, Indy has been playing with fire lately and has left their games close.

All that said, giving Indy 3 on the road means they are -6 with the home factor. I'd say that's about right given everything I just mentioned in that upper paragraph.

I'd like Dallas Clark and Reggie Wayne to get out of the game ASAP. I could have done without the Clark TD.

Sweet, I like that. Keep the Indy offense off the field.

If you can't tell, there are fantasy implications in this game for me :P

I have Mojo and Mike Sims in this game. Mojo just doing his usual thing.

Had a great season, 12-2. Need big games from Chris Johnson, Jones-Drew, and Aaron Rodgers

I went 7-6, but feel I have a better team than that. I had to deal with some injury issues (Donovan McNabb, Matt Ryan, Jericho Cotchery, Michael Turner) and Steve Slaton's fumble problems, but I've since healed up and patched up thanks to some good waiver wire pickups. I won in the first week of the playoffs, and I'm going up against the #1 seed now. I've got some great match ups this week so I'm hopeful.

God...I sat Sims-Walker because of how bad he's been since he got injured.

This is a good game.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'm playing against Dallas Clark too. I ended up getting the #1 seed in my league with a 9-5 record even though I started the year 0-4. First round of the playoffs and Dallas Clark is killing my chances of advancing.

My season's over. **** the Colts. So much for not caring about going undefeated.

What a three day stretch...Bucks lose at the buzzer, Jags lose heartbreaker, and Bucks lose by 3 in an ugly contest

This sucks.

I know I'm a pessimist but this is quite possibly making the Queens to #1 seed and a possibility for the Packers to miss at 10-6 viable.

If the Saints come back and win after that. Wow.
