JT's been inconsistent? 20/10/1.3blks in his last 5 games. Inluding 14/8/3blks so far tonight. JT is a stud almost nightly.

That was 3 blocks as the center tonight.

JT has no center to compete with on the boards, take his rebounding numbers with a grain of salt, we're getting abused in the post, and trying to collapse is freeing the guards from mid range, this team needs a bruiser, all it takes is a bad day from Tyreke and we're in troubles against a team like the Wolves.

Spencer Hawes clearly chose the wrong career.

We are the worst team at boxing out rebounders, especially after missed free throws.

This team has given up on defense

I didn't see the game, can someone fill me in on what happened? I know these nights happen. Did Tyreke just have an off night?

We are not going to win with K9 starting, I'd rather play Donte Greene at the PF Position than k9.
I figure with JT at center we will be playing small ball which will allow us to beat teams out on the break and score easy buckets.

We should play small ball until we get a Center who can defend the basket as well as having an inside game...

Omri looked GREAT tonight, Beno was good. Tyreke struggled but still managed to have an impact, JT was good, but the shooting overall was just atrocious. I mean we couldn't hit the broad side of the barn and the defense/rebounding wasn't there. It just seemed like everyone was gassed tonight.

The Kings looked like they thought they would win and Minnesota would play as bad as they did in Sac. The Kings are not good enough not bringing their a game.

JT had a better game than Al Jefferson and has in both games vs the Wolves. It isn't JT that sucks in the post. JT can't be as aggressive grabbing more rebounds is the refs always call hustle plays against him and he ends up in foul trouble. At this point he is smart to play safer and stay on the floor. Hawes better start picking it up his half of the post play.

And I know people are going to boo me but Kevin Love has as complete a basketball game as CWebber. He had 20/15/5assists. And don't say it was just the Kings because he had 19 rebounds vs the Lakers also (Gasol/Bynum/Odom). Al Jefferson is the arguably the best center of the last 5 years and Love is outrebounding him 12-8 this year. Love can pass on the break or in the offense, shoot deep, solid post moves, hit free throws, rebounds, and has a powerful lower body. His biggest weaknesss is his shot blocking but everything else is there to be a 20/12/5/1 guy. And an all star every year.

I am the same guy who watched Tyreke in one summer game and said wow the Kings are going .500 this year. Which will happen when they get back Martin for the second half.

Yes KLove has the same skillset with the athleticism of Brad Miller. JT is looking more and more like the real deal. I think he needs to add some go to moves to his game and be more of a scoring threat. I'm not saying he needs to shoot more but he's not yet a guy we're going to dump it in on and say "take us home!" Teams are going to pack the lane in on us until either Evans is a shooter or we have legit post play.

Ugh...arguably the worst game of the season.

I agree that the team looked exhausted, but if they were, that's a real problem. Why the hell are they this tired on a 3rd night in 4? 4 in 5--sure. But this isn't okay.

And I'll say it again. We need to feed the post more. Almost every time Spencer or JT sets up down there, a guard penetrates and they're forced to clear out to the wing. Feed them! The only time Spencer can actually make a shot inside is when he's in the post. We're not even trying, and tonight was a night above all others when we should have been trying it a hell of a lot more. That's why post offense is valuable--when the team is tired, it doesn't decline nearly as much as jump shots. They were killing us inside and we weren't even trying to hit them back!

Just a disgusting game. Bad shooting nights will happen (and the Wolves had an usually good shooting night--Brewer made a few, and that doesn't happen), but that was far from the biggest problem with this game. The offense will come--especially if we feed the post more. This team has got to make some kind of effort to defend. Even Tyreke was terrible defensively tonight.

ugh pathetic. Gotta say I find this game frustrating. You play great against good teams on the road and then look terrible against arguably the worst team in the league. If we cant find a way to beat minnisota on the road who will be beat? Certainly not Mil or Chi. ugh
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.

I am glad JT is finally getting starting to come aroudn with shotblocking too.

Love ain't no Brad Miller. He has the same powerful lower body as Elton Brand or AL Jefferson or Webber. He was also near the top of all big guys vertical in the draft last year. Just because he is white doesn't mean he ain't athletic. You don't get Hansborough or Love (or Tyreke) size body and athleticism without years of hard work.

ok i didn't watch the game.....actually not even the play by play but assuming from your posts we looked tired and we tried to force the issue instead going through the offense from the inside out...i agree with mitch...and especially on a night when the shot is not falling good post play will pull the defense and allow more room and more patience for better looks from the outside...its a frustrating loss to arguably top-2 WORST team in the league...but come on.....you guys forget we sucked last year......this is tyreke's FIRST bad game.....its gonna happen games where we make mistakes.......(try to shoot our way out of a funk [yeah you never do that...at least not as a team anyways])...its gonna happen in a couple of games.....we'll lose some games we are supposed to win.....and everybody on this board should have that in mind when evaluating the kings game-by-game............remember this is basically a rookie team.....some ppl are expecting that because we are winning some, that we are automatically perfect against weaker opposition.....expect this to happen about 4 more times (max) during the season where we lose to weaker opponents...this is a process guys...this is how you become great....when i think about this season a remember my first season as a kings fan....99 when we played utah in the PO's....i witnessed that team from birth to death and the process of becoming a contender was what made me the fan i am today...the thought this season is a young 11 yr. old's first season as a kings fan.....brings nostalgia.....these new kids.....they gotta go through the process man...just wait and watch...GO KINGS!!!

P.S. who said tyreke needed to record a triple double? make it happen
