Any way to steal some Love?
Kevin Love has been one of my favorite players since he started at UCLA. Two years ago I told myself whichever team Brandon Jennings landed on would from that point on be my new 2nd favorite team. (I'm from Boston, live long Celtics fan, and I for some strange reason miss suffering lol) Anyways, I've been doing a franchise on 2k10 with the Bucks, and want to trade for KLove, but I don't want to make trades that are unrealistic. So far I'm in mid-November (I play every game) and I've turn off CPU trades until January to keep it real, but I want to find out if there is a way that KLove could be traded for and what it would take. Obviously I know none of you are responsible for pulling the trigger in real life, but you guys are obviously closer to the situation than I, so I figured I'd ask.
Could he be traded for?
What would it take? Brandon Jennings and Andrew Bogut are the only ones I refuse to trade.
Thanks in advance

No chance without either of those two... and I dont think any chance even with those two,.
"That's why the last two years weren't guaranteed," Walsh said. "Either way, he knew it could have happened either way."

What else would you have to offer? Joe Alexander? LRMM? Thats all i can think of really, you wont be able to get Love without giving up something

Re: Any way to steal some Love?
I think that the only way I might be able to work something would be a three way trade. Maybe trade some of my expiring contracts to a team that would be looking to cut costs by sending some young talent to Minnesota to make up for giving the Bucks Kevin Love. I don't mind taking on a **** contact for 2010-2011 because I don't intend to go after anyone crazy in the 2010 free agent class.

o% chance.
We don't need a PG
also we don't need more expirings. Love is a 21 year old player who is capable of potentially leading the nba in rebounds, not to mention he can pass and also chip in 15-20 pts a night.

Re: Any way to steal some Love?
Some NY fans and MN fans won't like this at all but it's fairly close (and you probably could find a couple who would do this)
something like NY Out Gallinari, Curry, Jeffires In: Mil expirings
Mil Out: expirings In: Love
MN Out: Love In: Gallinari
or possibly
Utah Out: AK, NY pick In: expirings (warrick one of them) + some incentive
Mil Out: 1st (some protections, maybe top 3) + expirings + some little incentive for AK, Love
MN Out: Love In: NY 1st + Mil 1st

Al Jefferson would be traded before Kevin Love does. This kid is real special. 2nd year in the league averaging 15 and 12 and he's only going to get better.

That amused me -- thanks.
I think your best asset is your ability to take on 2010 salary. MIL is low enough under the new lux to add money, but not low enough to be getting a free agent.
MIN has no need for that, but you're right that it would be your best way to get something to trade. I'd take Love over Gallinari, so it'd be tough.

Put a crisp $5 on the table and turn out the lights. You won't have to steal any love then, I'll give you all you can handle...

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Dude, you're in Fargo. The cost of shipping alone is $20.

Ah yes, this is what I have missed..... and no, not the triple dirty, not the shipping and handling (how could you forget "handling" in jokes like these), but yes, the tangets and humor, good times.
