If we gave him extended playing time the way hes playing at the moment he would foul out in the 2nd quarter of games. I like the guy also but he fouls WAY TOO MUCH. Obviously when he plays well we play well but thats because he isnt in foul trouble. SOLUTION: Stop bloody fouling early

The problem is that we are looking at a correlation - our wins vs. Hibbert's minutes. But one does not cause the other. They are both caused by the same thing.

When Hibbert plays well, he gets more minutes. We also win more. When Hibbert is terrible, he gets fewer minutes. We also lose more.

So the solution is not to simply give him more minutes, but to get him to do the good things that result in him getting more minutes.

So what your saying is.....correlation doesn't necessarily guarantee causation? Crazy talk!!

You make it sound like we lose because Hibbert doesn't play enough. It's not as related as you think.

For example, when ice cream sales go up, so do drownings. That doesn't make them related.

But I do agree that I'd like to see him more, but a lot of the time he's not getting minutes isn't because his offense isn't clicking, it's because he's hacked somebody twice in the 1st quarter.

And my point has always been that this team needs HIbbert to produce to win, especially now that Granger is out for a while. Tonights game was a perfect example of how valuable HIbbert can be. And i think O'brien needs to realize that.

Hibbert is a big man if he can give Bogut credits for a good game. Hibbert you are a classy player.
When you put on that jersey, the name on the front is more important then the name on the back.
