Woody is the absolute worst. That was a game between two terrible coaches.

It's pretty obvious he still has absolutely no idea what to do with Josh Smith. Smoove was horrible last night, back to his old jump shooting lazy on the perimeter self and Woody did absolutely nothing about it.

Marvin might have been worse. No reason we should lose to the woeful Bulls when we get a game like that from JJ.

Woody has to pull Marvin in end of game situations, and get in Smoove's face when he's shooting those shots or pull him if he keeps doing it.

This game reminded me of the Hawks from 2 years ago

Fire Woody, still

We tend to overreact to the highs and lows that take place in a given season.

^^^ How was last night a "low?" Good teams lose games like that all the time.

I propose that anyone who actually watched that game last night and had ANYTHING negative to say about Joe Johnson get a week-long suspension from this board.

I have nothing negative to say about Joe last night. He was flat out fantastic. My only problem is that at the end of quarters, late in games, or in any late situation, we give him the ball and stand and watch. Joe is our best player, no doubt, but he shouldn't have to take every big shot for us every single time we need one. It's a lot of pressure on him, and we can possibly get an easier look with someone else. With that said, last night was probably Joe's best game all season. He was extremely good, and I even see where Bull fans want to sign him now.

^ I hear you. But what choice do we have? We have no one who can score in the post and a point guard who can't penetrate. Our most reliable play is to get it to Joe and have him go one-on-one or find the open man when they double. He's the only guy on our entire roster who draws a double team. We're gonna always have a tough time scoring in those situations, especially in the playoffs.

i see it as a low because of all the great suprises and successes of the season we still havent found an answer for the end of close game scoring. This is going to come up again and we need to find for someone else to score. The lost made me sad

I feel like our scoring has been fine at the end of games this season. And we got every single shot we wanted last night down the stretch they just didn't fall. There was a sequence in the last minute where we were up 4, Hinrich had a weak layup spin in, then Joe had an easy floater that was around the rim and out, followed by Rose making an incredible shot over Smoove to tie it.

We just didn't make the plays that we have been making all year, and that happens to even the best teams (especially on the road) from time to time.

^^ Good point. That makes me feel better, just knowing that all teams struggle at some point.

I'm not sure either. The fact that it happened at home to a team full of 20-23 year olds makes it even more puzzling.
