Victory Cigar Celtics Swamp Wolves

Post#1 » by exculpatory » Mon Dec 21, 2009 1:32 am

Demolishment of the Wolves - except I do not like the sloppy Q3!!!, but I can live with it!

Truth awakens and looks like he did for the first 15 games of the year:
29 points 8-14 and 7-7 from 3, 7R and 4A

RR dub dub
13 points and 15 assists - 1 of them left handed and a thing of beauty

Perk dub dub
14 points and 11R

Tony Allen
15 points, 6R, 3A and LOTS OF ENERGY! Highlight of the year together with Eddie!!!!

Go for it, guys.

We have just begun a new 11 game win streak! :0)
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.

Truth

If Rondo did not pack it in at halftime, would have without question got my vote. Great 1st half, sporatic energy and focus in 2nd.

TA, another solid game. Love watching both he and Rondo pressuring the ball. Attack, attack, attack. Wish his demeanor would rub off on some of his teammates.

Gave it to Pierce. 6-6 from 3's, 7-7 from the line, 29 pts.

Rondo was great too. TA with a very strong game. Tony has been our best bench player since coming back.

I voted Paul...but it could go either way between him and Tony.

And to think some people here said they would rather see Scalabrine playing than Tony Allen..

It's odd seeing TA play well multiple games in a row. I like it. I like it a alot :) Only piece I think they are really missing now is a backup PG. Eddie nor Quis are that guy.

Went with TA really thought he kept it together when we started looking real shaky out there in the 4th. Nice to see him remember that he can actually play basketball.

Had to give it to TA. Stayed within his role all night long, didn't force anything, showed great poise and composure and injected a much-needed energy boost into the this game. His +/- was also very impressive too, by far the best +/- off the bench.

More than anything, I think TA's matured into a true veteran. We all mature at different rates and I think TA's finally figured out what he needs to do every night to be a consistent, contributing member of the rotation. In garbage time, he was even taking Lester and Giddens aside and making sure they ran our stuff--I don't think I've seen that from him before. He's just matured and it makes all the diff--even Doc remarked in the post game that TA's playing his role to an all-time high since the Big 3 were put together. TA's turned a corner and it couldn't have happened to a better guy at a better time. Really happy for Tony--hope he can stay healthy and really build on this.
The leaks are real...the news is fake.

I'm just here for the memes.

I'd like to give it to TA to quiet all his haters. But had to give it to the Truth. Speaking of the truth come on TA haters have you ever seen the fan favorite Scalabrine play a game like that? 15 points and 6 boards in one game - what about that nice pass to Perkins. Come on now...

I gave it to TA. He has really looked great since the return. But I am not getting my hopes up too much in the end he is still Tony Allen...the most encouraging part is that he is finally playing instead of thinking about the injury...

Gave it to Pierce even though Tony participated in the two plays that absolutely stand out from this game.

The Eddie-House-pass and the Rondo-pass. Unbelievable.

(How good did Rondo became with his left hand passing? OMG).
