Should Lakers wear their white jerseys on the road

I've been noticing what the Cavs are doing with their jersey's wearing the away jersey's at home and their white jersey's on the road. Im not saying the Lakers should wear their purple jerseys at home but why not get rid of the purple jerseys and start wearing the whites on the road instead. I think more teams in the NBA should do what he NFL does with their jersey's. What do you guys think?

I don't like it. I hate the way the NHL has the home team wear the colored jersey and road team wearing the white.

When I'm watching games, I'd rather see the home team in white and the road team's different colors.. Or else, every Lakers game it would be LA's yellow and the road team's white... Boring.

Just my opinion.

nice touch. maybe once in a great while.

but theres nothin like those PURPLE jerseys on the road.

i mean i could go for it, but maaan, those purple jerseys are simply signature.

Nah keep the white jerseys at home, if anything I'd like to see a black and gold road alternate jersey created. Could have yellow or white at home, purple or black on the road.

I would love to see those black jerseys I don't know why they keep those jerseys for fan purchase only why not make them authentic get them on the court they've been selling those jersey's since the Kobe Shaq days.

The Laker organization cherishes tradition.

I love that about the Lakers.

When they came up with a new-look uniform, they still wanted it to be consistent with the old uniform.

When they came up with white uniforms, they gave it structure, by breaking them out only on Sundays.

I'm wit Deep all the way on this one. Keep it old school, keep tradition ALIVE.

Hell, if it were up to me we'd go back to the eighties jerseys and do away with the whites entirely. As it stands, I'm cool with them wearing the whites on Sunday ONLY ... a class decision from a CLASS organization.

Even when times are bad, fellas, it's easy to be a Laker fan ... they are truly first class. You'll never ever see them with those ugly ass tye dye jerseys that CLeveland wore in the Terrel Brandon years.

After so many home games this season I have to say I'm liking the purple more than ever. No way. We're the Purple and Gold.

I don't even care much for the Sunday whites. Oh well.

Was the Lakers away Jersey ever blue instead of purple? I swear most game during the 96 to 98 era were blue or look like it on my TV?

The purple jerseys are the best jerseys. I wish the Lakers could wear them at home AND on the road.

I personally hate the Sunday whites, but I think it has something to do with the fact that the first 2-3 white jersey games I watched, the Lakers lost :-?

That said, I'd be all over some purple & black if used sparingly.
