Well you didnt brah, cause traveling wasnt even a question on that play, it was either a charge or a blocking foul, and it couldve went both ways.

Yeah, Stern wants a team in Vegas, so that is why I think he is saying what he is saying.

Really, I have never heard of this, when did this happen? Im amazed cause the Kings/Maloofs have always wanted to relocate since the city of Sac town isnt willing to drop the money on a new arena and the Maloofs have expressed discomfort about the city not willing to pay for the new arena and they have treatened the city and the NBA about relocating the team to Vegas but Stern wont allow it since he doesnt want any NBA team in Vegas.

Its a shame NBA reffing is so putrid. You can watch any college game, anytime, and you never notice the refs. IN the NBA, its like the league thinks the fans want to watch the refs. I'm amazed that Stern doen't have player cards printed with a special referees edition.

Of all sports, none have as crappy refs as the NBA. Who likes watching million dollars athletes shoot free throws. Hell, my daughters shoot free throws better than most of them. That's not entertainment.

I agree with what's been said above, if not for the C's, I'd never watch another NBA game solely because of the refereeing. You have to believe there's something rotten in Stern's league that allows this to continue. The NBA is just another corporation that cannot be trusted. We cannot continue to be so naive.

Fellas, you're my crew and all but this "NBA needs to do something about the refs" notion needs to be called out.

The officials are being TOLD by the NBA to officiate this way. TOLD. ORDERED. DIRECTED.

The officials are 100% in the tank for the league and will do whatever bidding $tern decrees.

That Kobe-Milwaukee nonsense the other night is just the latest blatant example.

STERN is the problem. And dude acts as if everything the league does is right and either downplays or totally ignores problems people have with the league because he's using the age-old tactic of deny-it-and-it-will-go-away or just straight up denial.

I mean, come on. Dude is a former lawyer. There isn't anything he won't spin (or orchestrate - Kobe staying in L.A. in 04 AND 07? Gasol for Kwame trade? Yep, all Stern's doing. In a league where revenue is king, of course he was going to keep the game's best player in the highest-profile city and get him some help to win a championship to create even more interest and $$$ coming in).

Donaghy is right: NBA refs are TRAINED to officiate games in this manner. And Stern started all this after MJ retired in 99. Welcome to the New NBA.
