If anyone needs to reach me but doesn't have my details, they are as follows:

BTW, thanks Gremz, it really sucked the schedules didn't meet, since you're one of the best in these competitions. Thanks again for being a judge. As for other judges, shawngoat has said he'd chime in with his opinion when he has the time, so he's a sort of temporary fill in for right now.

I'd suggest trying to recruit one of Tyler or TrueLAFan too...or both.

A few questions for TMACFORMVP.

First off, is there a minimum increase in a bid? For instance, if the current bid is $2,000,000 can I bid $2,000,001?

Also, I'm a little confused as to how the players work. Is there a point where we will be able to name any player we want and bid on them? Or are we always bidding based on a list provided by you?

Really cool idea, BTW.

I think there should be a minimum increase.

It should be an amount that makes some strategic difference relative to the bid that came before it.

I'd say .5m increases should be the minimum.

Sure, that would be great.

Yeah, in the process.

Yeah, there should be a minimum, didn't address that, I like what Cellar suggested in 500k rule.

As for the players, I originally planned to do it by position. But so it wouldn't be so confined, the first two brackets will be chosen by the lists I've provided. After that, will be the best of the best by position ranking (like maybe 5 per position), if there is a player you would like not on that list, I think it'd be OK to have open bidding at that point.

But as of now, the thought process would be off the lists, at least for this and the next bracket.

If bidding wont get exciting till the last hour, then this competition kinda sucks, lol.

I'd then suggest, completely getting rid of a time limit, and may the best offer win. Might stretch out the game further, BUT like Cellar did with the minimum he offered (10m), we'd raise those, to reduce the time of having offers lesser than a certain point? Thoughts?

Approximately 3 minutes after I edit out every bid of yours.

Anyone else kinda surprised at the lack of fanfare for Kareem here? I know it's past his insane years, but he's still got MVPs and Finals MVPs here, and he's still one of the most technically sound bigs/best PO performers.

21m? You can take him and your crippled cap.

I'll be interested to see what he can manage with his remaining salary. He's by no means out of it though.

It's intriguing. But his price range is still in the area of everyone else. Perhaps it's simply, as you mentioned, because he is past his "peak" if you will, that he is not getting dominant attention. I'd still be looking pretty hard at him though.

Considering that Jordan went for 21m and he is not being used in his prime years, it's hard to fault his current pricetag.

I'm more interested in jcldallas leading both LeBron AND Kobe versus $21M for Jordan. I'm not sure how well they'd play off each other, plus after signing both those (assuming those bids hold) that leaves an average of $2.5M per player. Assuming he signs 5 minimum players, that leaves an average of $4M for the remaining 5 players. This is getting really interesting right now.

I'd assume he is being used in his prime years, 80's for sheer dominance but bad teammate or 90's for better team work but no DPY.
