Efrain vs. Dunham should be a war. Glad to see Gerald Harris finally get to fight on the big stage.

Nice, I have been waiting for Gerald Harris to sign with UFC since his season of TUF. Also excited to see Escudero fight again. He's behind Bones Jones for my favorite young fighter.

Interesting main event, hard fight for Nate, though I am sure he'll bring everything he's got, a win for him will put him up there in the LW division, a win for Gray just puts him closer to the title shot and probably about 47 stuffed takedowns by BJ.

But a very solid card for a fight night, looking forward to seeing a good few of those fighters, love fight nights for the reason that you get some good guys that normally you might miss due to being on the under card.

Wonder if Chris Leben bothered training for this fight though.

This card kinda crept up.

Got some interesting fights on here.

I expect Maynard to LNP his way to a decision, and possibly to a title shot. I hope Diaz learned from the Guida fight how to defend against a wrestler who doesn't really want to do much to you. We should also remember that Diaz beat Maynard on TUF. I don't remember the fight all that well, and it doesn't count on their official records, but Diaz subbed him. I think it's reasonable to say that Diaz has improved as much or more than Maynard since the show (Diaz was what, 12 years old at the time?), so maybe this fight will be closer than people think. It seems everyone (myself included) has already decided Maynard will win this fight and go on to challenge Penn. I'm hoping Diaz puts a stop to that.

Dunham vs. Escudero should be an interesting battle between two undefeated up and comers. I'm not really sure how the matchup will go, but I think Escudero is a better prospect, so I'm taking him to win.

Lawlor vs. Simpson doesn't do much for me. Simpson has looked pretty good when I've seen him. I'm not sure what the fascination with Tom Lawlor is though. He did the "just bleed" thing at the weigh ins for 100, and then upset Dollaway, but I'm still not convinced he's going anywhere.

Sadollah vs. Blackburn should be pretty good. Blackburn isn't that well known, but I think he's a pretty tough test for Sadollah. He's got some quality wins and is on a decent streak. I think the UFC set this fight up for Amir to build some momentum, but I think I'm leaning towards Blackburn in this one. I was not all that impressed by Sadollah against Baroni, and I think Blackburn is a lot tougher, just without the name value.

I don't know who Jay Silva is, and I don't really want to find out. Leben by KO.

In the prelims, I'd like to see Tavares' fight (I've always liked him, I'm not sure why....probably because I thought he was a legit prospect a few years ago, and he's fallen on his face since then...I'd like him to get his **** together), and I wouldn't mind seeing Harris vs. Massenzio.

Nate Diaz/ Gray Manard I really hope Nate can pull this one off but LNP'ers have a way of stifling Nates BJJ, I still got Nate by 2nd rd Sub.
Even Dunham/ Efrian Escudero Nice matchup of 2 young lions, Escudero is the hotter prospect, but he has big holes in his stand up, Dunham by 3rd TKO.
Tom Lawlor/ Aaron Simpson Simpson is a animal plain and simple, Simpson in the 2nd by just beasting right through Lawlor and getting a 2nd rd TKO.
Amir Sadollah/ Brad Blackburn Sadollah is one tough dude, this will be a tough fight for him but I see Amir willing his way to a UD.
Chris Leben/ Jay Silva Leben only cause I heard of him.
Nick Catone/ Steve Steinbeiss This here is a prelim but it will be FOTN and KOTN, Steinbeiss is a K1 level kickboxer whose last 2 fights have been lost by bad descisions, one in the WEC and 1 in the UFC. Obviously Dana sees Steve potential if you start offf 0-2 with Zuffa and still get a fight. Catone is going to stand and bang and my boy Steve is going to knock him out something violent. Steinbeiss 2nd rd KO.

It looks like Steinbeiss is out and Jesse Forbes is going to fill in, he has been on a nice lil winning streak since his lost to Bryan Baker, I got Forbes via UD.

Lots of fresh young blood on this card. Very exciting. Rory MacDonald is one of the very best prospects in the sport. Really looking forward to his debut.

The next UFN (21) will be in March on Versus, and the fights already look great for a free card.

So far rumored to be:

Brandon Vera vs. Jon Jones
Clay Guida vs. Sean Sherk
Anthony Johnson vs. John Howard
Vladimir Matyushenko vs. Steve Cantwell

Yeah, I saw that earlier today. Vera/Jones will be good as well as Rumble/Howard fight.

UFN 21 looks sick for a Fight Night card, theres 2 or 3 fighters there I'd full well expect to see on a decent main card on a PPV (though not all together at the same time).

re: CPT - I completely forgot that Nate beat Gray before, I prefer Nate over all so lets hope for a repeat.

Jones vs Vera is a fight that could have co-headlined a main card (albeit a weak one), UFN 21 looks stacked

Amir rocked Blackburn in the first and third rounds but both times he went for the takedown when he had the chance to finish the fight. Nevertheless, another solid performance for Amir.

Dunham and Amir looked great. IMO both the Lawlor/Simpson and Diaz/Maynard decisions were bad, though neither was as bad as some that we have seen lately.

I saw enough of Gray Maynard to know he has no business in a title fight. The UFC needs to put him in with someone legit before he gets a shot at BJ. All he did all night was load up and try to take Diaz's head off with little success. Diaz did no damage, but he scored a lot more point IMO. The only round Maynard did anything was the 2nd when he had Diaz hurt.
