I will, and when they lose in the SEC Title game, don't come cryin' to this board.

How about the O-Line freeing up the middle. Outstanding game all around. With all the young talent, we have a shot at the title next year.

Fair enough. But if we win the NC, you better eat a big fat giant crow.

Hopefully Tennessee loses one of its next two so Knowshon Moreno and the Georgia Bulldogs get a shot at your Tigers. UGA is riding high right now. The whole team (and stadium) was jumping once we broke the game open today. If the Dawgs make the championship game I have no doubt that we'll win it with the way they thrive on this confidence and energy.

Yup... that was the biggest thing to me. Juice was very good. The defense made key plays when they need to, especially the secondary. But the Illinois offensive line just owned OSU in the trenches... just domination, really. The Illini could get whatever they wanted...

I'll say this, I think Mark Richt runs the best program in the country... I'm a big fan of his.

I don't hate LSU. I'd rather them win in the SEC than Florida & Alabama. I can't stand Les Mouth.

And also right on for Mississippi State beating the white power tide again. Serves them right. And for hiring Nick Satan  . Shoot, Charles Barkley who's an Auburn alum said he woulda been a Bama fan if they hired Croom. But, for the Bulldogs...they now need players who can actually score against LSU.

Happy for Ron Zook. The Big 11 needs another good team in there. Too bad no.3 isn't Purdue :( . The colors & train logo is cool. But for the Buckeyes, at least the 1st loss isn't against Michigan again. But if Michigan can't win this time, they need a new coach. New direction. Need a National Championship or bust mentality. :censored: the Rose Bowl & losing to USC.

That's all I can think of now for this week's review.

 The fans erupted at Mac Court when the score was announced.

I'm still barely recovered from Oregon's win over Pepperdine in men's basketball (100-70), but it'll hit me tomorrow.

Oh, and Steve Spurrier is quickly becoming one of the nation's most overrated coaches.

I think it is more that Croom went to Bama, played under Bear, interviewed at Bama and they basically said "screw you". He then goes to a rival school (tuscaloosa and starkville are not far about, maybe 60-90 minutes or so) and beats them the past two years.

So I am happy that Croom finally won some games this year. They know have Arkansas and Ole Miss up next.

UGA and the blackout was at fully strength. It was loud as crap in the stadium. My most enjoyable event was when the cop kicked 3 guys out of the stadium for mixing liquor into their cokes.

I was afraid of something like this happening with the way he plays. He's got to learn that if he's trying to go forward, the defense is going to hit you...and OSU is vicious on the run defense this year. Quarterbacks shouldn't be trying to put their head down and try to battle for a couple more yards. He needs to learn how to slide away from hits.

Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis is a very good facility. He's in good hands. Best wishes to him.

I'm hoping for the best but that didn't look good...he didn't move the entire time the peramedics were immobilizing/carting him off the field.

i know what you mean. it's so effing scary watching him run. he likes to initiate contact which is dumb for a QB. i have to question ty willingham and the coaching staff for this injury. it's not like this is his first big hit. i wonder why the coaching staff didn't tell or teach him to slide... it's not that hard...

sigh....

i understand that croom was a great player for the Tide but shula was good in his time at Bama as the QB. i dont see how they said screw you, its just that someone had to bring up that the SEC had never had a black head coach and shula got it over him (a black man). had mike price not ever been an idiot this never wouldve been a problem but its hard to say who'd be the better HC when neither had any previous head coaching experience.

Sounds like he's going to be ok...he's reportedly on his way back to Reser Stadium.

Edit: He IS back at the stadium and walking around on the sideline (sporting a neck brace). My guess is a sprained neck that will have him out for a couple of weeks.
