Jermaine O'Neal

Post#1 » by texasholdem » Tue Dec 22, 2009 6:54 pm

This Sixer beat writer claims Rockets want to swap McGrady for J.O'N.

The Rockets would love to get Jermaine O’Neal from the Heat, who might not be the same player he was in Indiana, but he still has some game, he can play center and has practically the same contract in terms of salary and expiration date as McGrady. That makes him far more appealing for Houston ... but Miami doesn’t get any thrill out of making a 1-for-1 deal like that. At least their expiring contract guy can offer something on the court. So the Heat likely would want a bargain guy like Kyle Lowry coming back. http://www.delcotimes.com/articles/2009 ... 505242.txt

I wouldn't mind swapping Tmac for O'Neal but no way should Lowry be included.

For the Sixers, he's advocating Mcgrady for Dalambert and Young or Speights which is interesting since TY and Speights have All Star potential.

Both Young and Speights fill the bucket and with the Rockets, whose players have the best basketball IQ in the league, they should only get more adept at it

I know he's not talking about our starting guards :)

warriors would trade Corey Maggette

There's no way Miami does a 1 for 1 deal with Tmac and JO.

Take it with a grain of salt but the trade machine thing on ESPN.com has the Rockets +7 wins with adding O'Neal and the Heat -3 wins adding McGrady. LOL

If they trade Lowry I might just have to boycott the Rockets. He has pretty much become my favorite player to watch, and he is much more valuable to this team than some washed up version of Jermaine O'Neal.

However, if in some miraculous way we landed that Wade guy, I would approve.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.
