How about trading Diaw/Chandler for Okur, Harpring and Koufos.

Okur is a tough player who can stretch the floor with his shooting. He defends, he rebounds.
We start him next to Nazr, who really has improved his play this year and develop the young Koufos off the bench.

Harpring is an expiring just to have salaries match.

Lol. Okur can't defend, neither can he rebound. Diaw > Okur.

And yeah, let us develop Koufus, just like we did with Lexi.

yeah it was a bit of a knee jerk reaction on my half.

I haven't seen Okur play for a while and I remember how he was being compared to Bill Laimbeer at Detroit for his toughness etc.

Chandler/Diaw
60 min, 9 points, 7 reb, 2 blocks, 3 ast, 0 steals,

Wallace
42 min, 29 points, 12 reb, 4 blocks, 3 ast, 2 steals

Thanks Tyson for that 1 point. That really drove home your righteous indignation about GW calling you out for sucking.

Mr. Two Left Feet has the nerve to talk about Mr. Intensity! Seriously? Blasphemy!!!! Hey Tyson, catch a pass and finish for once. This dude fumbles the ball damn near every time he gets it. It burns me up!! Raymond would average 2 more assists per game easily if this guy had the basic fundamental of an High School big man. And don't get me started on the Offensive fouls!! Ahhhh!! Rebound, Block shots, and STFU!!

I had been thinking of trying to come up with a way to ship Chandler to Toronto because they need a C next to Bosh/Bargs but now I wonder how badly the Blazers need a centre now that Oden AND Przybilla are out long term?

8-) :-? :-? I know this may not be a popular post but the best thing the Bobcats can do right now to save the season and make the playoffs for the first time in existence is trade Diaw/Augustine to NYK for Lee and Nate Robinson then regroup after season is over as to whether to resign Felton and Lee. I don't think TC is tradeable. This trade works after Dec 25th on trade checker and Nate can fill the backup point guard roll. TC would get better with a real 4 playing next to him and Nazr is playing better all the time.. D'Antonie wants both Diaw and Augustine and Lee is in a contract year where "WHEN' the Knicks sign Labron next season they couldn't sign Lee also. Augustine gives them a good future point guard backup. and Diaw can start at 4 and be switched around with Labron at a lot less the cost than Lee in 2010-2011. I believe you are now seeing DJ being showcased nightly for that trade by Brown before 1-1-2010?

NY's not going to take on Diaw's contract, or just give away Lee like that.
Humble yourself.

:o 8-) :o :-? NYK are inbetween a rock and a hard place right now. They will sign Lebron in 2010, but if you check their board right now they will not have enough to also sign Lee. Also everybodys mad at Nate.
By trading Lee for Diaw and Nate for DJ they solve their delimia and still are able to surround Lebron with quality players while keeping below the cap.

We get Lee to court for the rest of this season and if he fits in well , we may sign him. If not we have his cap space to sign another FA 4 in 2010 .. Nate gives us more point production from the backup 2 and with Acie and Flip on board with expiring contracts enough extra to sign Felton .

No way the Knicks do that trade not only because from a talent perspective its absolutely robbery but also because it would hurt their 2010 cap space.

How about:

Char out:
Felton - T.Chandler
Char in:
Miller - Jefferies - Hill

NYK out:
Jefferies - W.Chandler - Hill
NYK in:
Felton - Outlaw

Port out:
Miller - Outlaw
Port in:
T.Chandler - W.Chandler

Merry Christmas Slam, and everyone!

I would do this deal to get rid of Chandler and to aquire Hill. It gets NY the point guard they need. They dump Jefferies on us but have to give up Hill (not sure they'd do that). But I really can't see Portland doing this deal for the Chandlers (especially Tyson). I understand they have issues with Oden but they managed that last year. The Blazers have a ton of young talent but they cannot find the right mix to reach the next level. Having said that, I like your thinking. Miller gives us a PG to run this offense until DJ can prove himself. Hill becomes our reserve and eventual starter (with Diaw being dealt or our 6th man one day). Jefferies can also back up the 4. I like it!
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Miller is old and useless and I take Chandler over Jeffries at any day of the week.

At the moment, I wouldn't even think about trading Felton. Especially not for that kind of package.

Portland can't trade for Tyson Chandler because they need someone who is HEALTHY. And we can't make that trade because it leaves us very thin at C and also Jeffries isn't really a PF. Hill is a raw rookie so he would be of no use for us immediately. I really like Andre Miller, much more than Ray so I would swap those two, but we can't trade Chandler unless we're getting back a capable PF/C.

Miller is old and useless? I haven't watched much of Portland this season but Miller was pretty damn good when he played for Philly. Much better and more consistent at running a team than Ray.
