Paul Pierce: Knee Drained, out for a week or 2

Post#1 » by sam_I_am » Wed Dec 23, 2009 8:53 pm

Just got this news. Apparently had an infection drained. Out for the road trip. This is very bad news for team.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Great, so we don't have Marquis Daniels OR Paul Pierce for the next 2 weeks. I'm guessing that means Scalabrine is going to start. :nonono:

I guess this explains the recall of Bill Walker. Hope all is well with the captain longterm.

ok who's gonna step up? great, and quis is out. ray2, TA, bill, eddie and maybe giddens to split time @ the 2&3. maybe glen in spot minutes .... please make it a quick 2 wks.

this might/might not cost us HCA in the east, but i'd rather have everyone at 100% or better come playoffs time

as long as he's back for the LA game 1/31 i'm good ....

there are always going to be little injuries come up during the season, this isnt even any structural damage by the sounds of it and nothing to worry about..

throw bill and TA in the deep end, let the other starters and sheed step their game up for a few weeks, see how we fare

not like other top teams arent going to go through this... some already have

****. Losing PP is already a hit enough, but especially with Marquis out until February. Do I sense Ainge acquisition?

Man...

Walker is the closest thing to a legit SF on the roster now.

If Orlando goes big, does TA or Scal guard Rashard Lewis?

You know what i would love to see when Orlando runs Lewis at the 3?

KG/Sheed/Perkins

KG is long and quick enough to stick to rashard on the perimeter for a few spot minutes, Sheed and Perk can defend the post as normal..

On offense, Sheed can hang on the permiter, Perk in the low post and KG in the high post

obviously not a big minutes type of line up but itd be interesting at least

Waaaatttttt???Wow..that just breaks my heart...:waaa:

But hey Jesus needs to get more shots now..Pauls 10-15 shots should all go to Ray Allen. He is our main offensive guy now..Ray, KG and Rondo really have to step up...if this team manages to beat Orlando on the road, without Daniels, BBD, and Pierce, than wow..that would be something else..

BTW..If I see Scal at the 3, I'm turning my TV off. Tony Allen should start, Ray Allen should get some minutes there while Eddie gets minutes at the 2, and if needed, Bill Walker should get in and play too(what's the point in **** calling him up if they are going to leave him on the bench?) Scal just proved yesterday that he IS BY FAR the worse player in the league(Maybe of all times)..there is no need for him to be in the game more than he already is..I'm sick of 20 minute games from him that lead to a stat line full of 0's and maybe a rebound or two... :banghead:
