Re: Golden Era Auction Discussion Thread
I still haven't officially said four hours after the last bid. I'd like to finish this round by tonight though. What do you think about the four hours thing for the 2nd day of bidding? I can change everyone offer made after the suggestion which I made at 3:50, then hopefully a couple more players get locked up.
And yeah, I'll be here. Even 10:30 EST, is only 7:30 for me.

Re: Golden Era Auction Discussion Thread
For my money, I' hoping this round is done tonight. It doesn't really matter though as I'll be sitting at work with little to do tomorrow.

Re: Golden Era Auction Discussion Thread
Tmac why not start the next round of bidding in a new thread? We are mostly just waiting on a few bids to be finalized.

Re: Golden Era Auction Discussion Thread
Not this round with holidays. Right now I'm saying don't plan on any bids being officially "won" until 12pm EST on Saturday. I will email you if TMAC indicates otherwise.

Re: Golden Era Auction Discussion Thread
then what was the rush to end things last night if today means nothing?
If this is the case Merry Christmas to everyone, I'll stop waisting my time and just check back Saturday

Re: Golden Era Auction Discussion Thread
Sam man, you get way too reactionary.
The rush was so we didn't have to post-pone the FIRST round. If we still had bids pending coming into *the* major holiday in the states, we'd be waiting until 12/26 to finish those up.
Do you really think someone should be penalized for traveling or not getting on their computer these days? I've got no family or anything and even I can see that's a bad idea.

Re: Golden Era Auction Discussion Thread
I'm perfectly with no bids being finalized today, very reasonable, but can we set a time, say 12pm tomorrow where all bids become finalized?
TMAc?
TMAc?

Re: Golden Era Auction Discussion Thread
I don't think I could end it tomorrow, being Christmas. I already know some GM's that won't be available either today, or tomorrow because of things they have to do. And with a finalized time, people could just bid last second, I know I'd do that. I think it's probably best if it's closed up on Saturday, but some could potentially be closed if there hasn't been a bid for over a day.

Re: Golden Era Auction Discussion Thread
Very pleased with my KG / Shaq frontcourt.
Some of the other teams are looking very good as well. One that stands out to me is Magic / Karl Malone, both on very reasonable deals.
