Agreed. wiff, watch Ibaka very closely, especially in this Phoenix game when defending the pick and roll. It's kind of nitpicking because our whole team was garbage on the pick and roll tonight, but Serge was very frequently out of position.

I think it might actually be worth it for the Thunder to invest in an assistant that speaks French or something, if they are serious about developing Serge as one of their primary bigs.

Slick you are such a glass is half empty kind of guy.

I know the kid makes mistakes. He's 20 but he is also the most likely big to impact the game defensively.

Sure knock him for his offense or the fact that he took a jumper in the corner. But he hit that same shot about two weeks ago.

So he went 4-12 against the Lakers but he went 14 for freakin 18 the three games before the Lakers and went 6-8 against the Suns. That's 20 for 26 Slick and you pick out the one game he shoots a low percentage. You are so hyper critical of the kid.

Guess who had the only block in the game for the Thunder Slick? Yeah Ibaka. Why are you not tearing up Nick or Nenad for their lack of man to man Post D?

Bottom line this kid is the best big we have period.

Marcus Camby for Green/Collison

THe Thunder get their rebounding center, and they get even more cap space this offseason.

Don't get the wrong idea, I like Ibaka and am really excited about how much he's improved this year. I had my doubts that this guy would be an effective NBA rotation player and he's knocked that out of the park for sure. But Nick Collison makes so many good defensive plays and usually doesn't make a lot of mistakes. He's had a rough couple games, but for most of the year he's been very solid. Serge can definitely gain the experience and knowledge to impact the game similarly, and I hope he does.

Serge is a feast or famine player at the moment, which isn't unexpected since he's 20 like you said. I just wouldn't say he's better than Nick Collison right now, but he probably will be in the future. It is exciting having a player like Serge on the roster.. reminds me of Jelani McCoy

Ibaka is the next Wilt Chamberlain. Like A Randolph is the next Magic.

Brandon Bass is not happy at the moment in Orlando! Would you guys be open to trading for him?

Just wondering what you guys would give for Bogut? It probably wouldn't be enough to move him but just trying to gauge his value.

Well isn't that coy.

I understand we might disagree on Ibaka. But no one in this forum or anywhere else has referred to Ibaka as the next Wilt Chamberlain.

I understand I'm probably the kids biggest fan, but come on man that statement is asinine.

And although he played poorly against the Bobcats, I still think he is the best big this team has. Sure Nick is probably more consistent night to night but Ibaka is really the only big on this team that can change the game defensively.

And we all know what you see is what you get with Nick. He is at his ceiling.

Ibaka is 20 and has a ton of upside. One of the best ways to improve is with more meaningful minutes.

There are no expectations on the Thunder this season. At the start of the season no casual fan expected them to make the playoffs, if they do bonus. They can afford to let Serge make mistakes in games.

But just stop with the Wilt business it's insulting.

And yes I do expect him to be in the rookie game come Feb. There are simply no bigs this rookie class that are worth a damn. Don't tell me Tyler Hansbrough because his FG% is in the 30's which is horrendous.

I'm liking Griffins chances even if he comes back 2 weeks into januari. The rosters are being announced at the end of that month.

I've always loved Dalembert and see definite potential even still, but his attitude worries me. Could very well be worth the risk though. He seems to need to feel pretty involved in the game in order to play like the beast he occasionally reveals

His attitude scares me. Remember he was asked to leave the Canadian national team for attitude issues,

I'm not positive, but I think most Canadians blame that on the awful/goofball coach.

If they made crack that could do that...everyone would smoke that crap and not just losers.

Camby is about to expire and is too old to matter to OKC.
CENSORED... No comment.
