Come on guys, let's get reel.
The Lakers are always getting screwed by the refs. You guys never get any calls. It just ain't fair.
It's a wonder how you ever win any games, let alone a NBA championship. God bless Kobe for his patience, since he's been unfairly judged ever since he entered this league. Dude gets no respect.
The fact that you guys won the ring last year is a certified festivus miracle.

Re: A Reason Why The Lakers Lost
Well now, I am start to think positive again. With our talent, our team can adjust and still adapt to any situations. Last Year, we were tested and lost at Houston in Game 1, which is also as frustrating as our home game against them early this season. In that Denver game, we struggled without Pau just like game 4 last year against them and game 4 last year against Houston. It's difficult for us to came back in the game so the key is to win the first half early for the momentum. But take a notice that after those playoff losses, we came to bounce back and recognize those losses as wake up calls. Look at this team, very talented and superb. It's just the energy we bring, the effort and the lack of focus on our goal. Lakers has to know that the 1st half is the key and they should go for it early. Lakers has to adjust to those pick and rolls on defense, which I know they have the capability to adjust. I'm thinking about "It's early in the season and teams get momentum at the end of the season" that line reminds me of our team having a lot of finishers and talent. It's just the execution. Artest was very good last year against us, I think he gets the rhythm at the late in the season. He needs to attack more with that strength he has. That's my conclusion so far for this team after reviewing those losses.

Re: A Reason Why The Lakers Lost
We've lost to the Mavs, Cavs, Rockets, Utah, and Denver...
That's pretty much all of the contenders right there. And coincidentally, all the teams that attempt to play D. The only possibly play-off bound teams we handled is Phoenix (no-D) and Chicago...
I've been pretty positive about everything until that fact hit me.
We're a very good team but I think we really do have a long way to go before we legitimately start talking about a repeat. The Cavs have proven they can take us, I think the Celtics would handle us, and I think Denver has a real good chance of replacing us in the Finals this year... Maybe even Dallas, and who knows where the Spurs are going to be at the end of the season...
Bynum needs to get better. If he really is sick and that isn't just an excuse for his poor play and limited PT, then I hope he can come backs strong.
Gasol needs to bring some more fire... Even more than last season. In fact for the rest of his career, I'd like to see him improve his strength and aggressiveness.
Odom needs to get focused and bring some controlled intensity like he did last year.
Our entire bench needs to improve and someone needs to show they can be a spark for us night in and night out. I hope that can be Shannon Brown...
Fish needs to go to the bench....
Farmar, Ammo, and Sasha need to go for something usefull...

That's top ten one of the worst losses in important games I've ever seen the LAL play, just an embarrassment. It wasn't the fouls, it was the Lakers. Bad effort on defense (slow rotations). D Fish can't hang with Mo Williams a spot up only shooter? 28 fn' points?
Bynum is a bum Shaq was fast and quick underneath and Bynum was plain lost. Then he sits on the bench and is giggling with the shi**y bench players once again, he makes me ill. Why was Pau nearly shut out from the offense, and why was Pau kicking it out so much? Kobe was playing 1 on 5 even when the game was over, padding the MVP stats?
The best part of the game was Phil at halftime sideline speech apoligizing to the fans for the LAL performance on Christmas.
On top of that I was watching at my parents house and my pop can't stand the announcers so he had the game so low it might as well been on mute, he only turned it up to hear PJax's sideline interview.

I believe the Cavs were more aggressive and more focused, but the officiating was awful. The Cavs were getting the majority of the calls in their favor. The way it was officiated it felt like a home game for the Cavs against the Wolves. It was very strange to see that in L.A. Officiating in the NBA is down right brutal at times.
much respect to the 2011-2012 champions, Miami Heat, well deserved

Stop making excuses my dude. The refs called a horrible game on both ends of the floor. Bad calls for both team. Plus it's part of the game. It's how you overcome adversity that's what seperate the weak from the strong. I will say this. I never seen a team wine about every call as the Lakers do. I mean my God!!
Man your lucky Im in a good mood.
For starters the game wasnt called fair on both ends. In fact when the Cavs decided to go head hunting and the reffs allowed it changed the float/momentum of the game. But that's no excuse for the way the Lakers played yesterday. Im a Laker fan and yes I'll admit the Cavs stepped up and wooped our arses and Pau, Bynum and our bench didnt show up AT ALL.
Dont sit here and talk ish to our board and our fan base by calling us whiners, and if you do learn how to spell it first clown.
Second I blame this loss on Phil as well. He might be a great coach but dam he is stupid when it comes to his substations. I mean where was Shannon Brown? Sasha over Shannon?? Farmar chucking up airballs and still no Shannon, WTF.
Why did he allow Fish to play so many minutes and get blown away on every play by Mo? I think its time for Fish to sit his arse down and let Shannon take over the starting role specially when we play certain teams like this. Fish basically wasnt even there. Pau WTF he wasnt even in the game and Bynum had his time to shine but he was still at the Playboy mansion dancing with the bunnies.
This game made me sick to my stomach to watch and Im not going to blame this entirely on the reffs but this was as B.S as B.S can get. Give me a break with the reffs didnt have anything to do with this game crap, but we should've played through it and tried a bit harder. We showed no heart and no effort whatsoever.
Now to me its just one game and yes the better team won, OH WELL. Who cares but I hope we learned something from it. Mitch was at the game and he did witness this arse wooping so I hope he does realize our weakness and what we need to work on if we are going to defend our title this year.
As far as our fans throwing ish on the floor, I do realize some of you have shown your discomfort but you know what? Im glad they did even though I think it was wrong and classless but Im glad they did, SKIP THE REFFS AND MIKE BROWN TOO. Your up by double digits and you still have your key players including Le Crab on the court. What was the point of that. Showing us up like that.
Like I said NOO BIGGIE and lets take this loss and move on and work on our weakness. Other than that SKIP THE CRABS... GO LAKERS.
