I Want Rick Nash
Is it possible? I only bring it after considering his current situation in Columbus, they've never had a winning season, and just signed him to a large contract, they need to start over and rebuild because the way Doug Maclean started that team off I knew they would be a disaster. He took so many shortcuts and signed verterns to win then and now when that money should have been used to develop scouting and build up prospects. Rick needs a change, and so does Columbus. They're losing money and the Leafs should try anything they can to get him over hear, I don't know how, but I would love to see it.

Would cost the Leafs way too much to get him.

No its not possible.
They are not going to give away their best asset anytime soon, especially one that is also their biggest money maker. If anything, they have to do what it takes to make the playoffs to add revenue. On that team I also like Huselius, although he can be inconsistent.

"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

They won't be trading him anytime soon. If they did, we wouldn't be getting him. Here's why:
1. He just re-upped in Columbus.
2. They're not THAT bad of a team, they can turn it around in the coming years with some of their younger players.
3. We don't have what it takes to get him. Sure, we can offer Kadri and Schenn, but I'm rather confident another team could top that.

Nash would be a great fit on this team, but he apparently loves it in Columbus (hence why he re-upped before becoming a UFA). The Jackets are a perennial loser, but so was Pittsburgh, Chicago, and LA just a few years ago. With a core of Nash, Filatov, Mason, Brassard, and likely a nice pick this year, Columbus should be just fine down the road. In fact, their future looks brighter than ours.
Nash isn't going anywhere.

rather make a time machine and bring back wendel clarke. Actually bring back 6 of them
first line: wendel, kadri, wendel
second line:wendel, wendel, kessel
third line: wendel, grabovski, hagman
the leftover wendel can play goalie
