Week 16: New York Jets @ Indianapolis Colts

4:!5 Game. Well, we stopped the Titans last season when they were on a tear. Let's hope we can do the same this week.

- Push back both lines on the offensive and defensive end. Theirs are smaller.
- Revis Christ: Lock down Wayne. Sure, they've still got Clark and Collie to catch the rest, but with Gonzales and Garcon out, it would be easier if Revis made Wayne useless
- Limit turnovers
- Score early. If the game's out of reach, I would believe Indy would rest their players for the playoffs with a bunch of the Colts plagued with injuries.

I wouldn't be against looking for another corner to compliment Revis in the draft. What's Sheppard's contract look like beyond this season?

Nevermind, I forgot we extended him. (Krusty the Clown groan)

I don't think we extended him. From what I know Sheppard has a 10 million option due in the offseason which the Jets won't pick up. Due to him losing time to injury we will not lose a higher pick than a fourth. I think it would be good if the Jets look to resign him to a smaller deal as he has shown that he can be a capable starter if healthy.

The problem with drafting a CB is that I just can't see the Jets investing big first round money in a second CB. I agree with that, it would be overpaying in an already weak CB class. Gonna be interesting what happens...
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies...
