Joe's offensive game vs Crawford offensive game

i think we can agree that joe is better on d.

does anyone else think jamal is better offensively than joe? joe is a better 3 point shooter. but crawford just seems to score a hell of alot easier.

The trade couldn't have worked out any better so far but he was a career 40 percent shooter before coming to Atlanta. He's scoring a hell of a lot easier because he's not seeing anywhere near the same defensive attention. You can say the same for Flip last year who is shooting 35 percent from the field in Charlotte this year.

I don't know if it is because of Woody's offense or a product of JJ but guards always seem to improve when they arrive to Atlanta. For that reason I will say that Joe's offensive game is greater because the attention he receives greatly increases the production of his backcourt mates.
Conversely, you have to admit that Jamal's game is also having a positive impact on Joe because he is, as of now, shooting his 3rd best career shooting percentage also.

Agreed. Woody has had a positive impact on the careers of Joe,Bibby,Flip,and Crawford.

It's not even remotely close. Next game, watch how other teams defend the two of them. Pay attention to how many defenders Joe draws opposed to how many defenders Jamal draws. Jamal is not even in the same league as Joe, offensively or defensively.

Crawford has obviously been a great pickup but like others have said he doesn't have to deal with the defensive pressure that JJ does.

The one thing that annoys me about Crawford's game is his total aversion to contact. He can get away with this on offense but on defense and on the boards he can really get on my nerves. Basketball is a contact sport and sometimes you have to land a shot on someone. He can be a pansy at times. There is no excuse for him getting fewer rebounds than Bibby.

The only comparison IMO is that they both are great at creating their own shots. JJ is a bit better about dishing the ball than Crawford, and he's definitely a better defender. But this is why Crawford is coming off the bench for us. He's perfect at spreading the defense, being another scoring threat, and drawing attention away from other players. He also gets to play significant minutes against other teams' 2nd lines, which means increasing/maintaining leads and giving more time for JJ and Bibby to rest. I love the fact that JJ hasn't had to play 40 minutes a game this season. Crawford might just be the biggest reason we are so much better this season.

Jamal's offensive game is Better then Joe's.Theres gonna be Bias people but the Truth is jamal is one of the best 1 on 1 players in the world NBA TV already had a discussion on this he can get his shot off whenever and However which is why he scored 50 three times.And joe has never.

They double Jamal every time he does a pick and roll,Joe isn't the only one who gets double team Ilgauskis and west were double teaming jamal every pick n roll and made him pass it,He just knows how to score that ball which is why alot of people think he's a Better offensive player then Joe.I compare Ben gordon and Crawford to each other.So is Gordon a Better offensive player then Joe?

Crawford and BG are better scorers than JJ, but JJ is the better overall player. Crawford has multiple 50+ outings, and BG has several 40+ outings including going for 48. JJ is indeed a terrific one-on-one scorer but he continues his disappearing act against Lebron James.
