Matchup

Well, if there's any team to go up against this season when you're shooting for a win streak it's the NJ Nets.

Brook Lopez is obviously a stud, but outside of him the Nets are a train wreck of epic proportions. Devin Harris has been battling injuries, but has nevertheless looked more like Russell Westbrook of last season than himself.

Really, any decent game from the offense and this one will be difficult to lose. The Nets have no offense outside of Brook Lopez, especially if Devin Harris is shooting poorly. They are probably the only team at a significant disadvantage to us in terms of 3pt shooting.

I'll be very disappointed if we lose this one..

Some Numbers

The offense has been coming along, we are now 17th in the league in offensive rating, getting closer and closer to the top half of the league. Defense rating is still 8th.

A Question

How pissed will you be if we lose this game?

on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being breaking things, a 10.

There is no way we should lose this game unless we give a half ass effort.

The Thunder also recalled Byron Mullens today from the D-League.

Also... what is he thinking?

Should be a 10+ point lead, lazy turnovers and transition defense..

James Harden's annoying tendency to blindly bullrush into the lane not looking for teammates continues..

We're letting these guys kill us on offense just like we let Charlotte. NJN has a horrible offensive team, and Brook Lopez has done hardly anything. Really frustrated with this effort.

Our defense has been pretty bad, luckily we are playing Nets. Similar to the game vs Bobcats. WE need to get some more defensive stops and we should be able to pull this one out.

oh and what do you think of Westbrook at the 2? Harden has been playing like dog ****

The defense has been horrible, but what a half offensively for Russ and KD..

Does remind me of that Bobcats first half. Hopefully we clamp down on defense and keep things going offensively.

James Harden not having a good game on either end of the court. Ibaka made some nice plays but also a lot of stupid plays. Krstic was very effective on both ends IMO.

Green's been trash the last couple of games especially on defense.. can't believe we're winning this one by 15 the way the bench has played. The Nets are historically bad.

I know were playing a 2 win team, but at least its good to know that we can play like crap for the most part and still win games.

Right on, the Nets remind me of this team last year. That offense was probably one of the worst I've ever seen in that second half.

It'll be a tough one tomorrow against Washington, it'd be sweet to get four straight!

Solid game from KD, Russell, and Collison. Krstic was pretty good

Green was awful, Maynor was average.

I don't usually post in the other team's game thread, but I'm interseted in what you guys thought of Yi.

Also, Durant looks like he's 8 feet out there, it's incredible.

Yi was very successful when he was aggressive but seemed to settle for long mid range jumpers too much in the second half, the least efficient shot in basketball.

He seems to have made a lot of progress and looks bigger since the last time I saw him, I think he can be effective especially if he stays at SF, with that length.

Definitely improved..

Why did Green only play 16 minutes today?
