What is up with Mikey D?

I was looking at his game log and he's fallen off the planet. Is he playing hurt? I haven't been able to watch any Pacer games recently.

It looks like he's still a little out of shape since coming back from his knee injury. He was doing ok at first but we've had a lot of games in the last 2 weeks and he's starting to wear down I'd give him a game or 2 off if it was up to me.

We have a back to back coming up I'd give him tonight against the Bulls off and play him light minutes against the Grizz on Weds. The they don't play again til Jan 2nd and 3rd.

He'd been better of being a 6th man!

It didn't help that O'Brien was ignoring the team doctor's suggestions on minutes from the start. They're doctors for a reason, meanwhile Jim O'Brien thinks he knows better than they do.

I think his knee is still bothering him, and on top of that, I bet his conditioning is still pretty poor having been out for so long.

He did have a terrible game against the Hawks, where he was a turnover machine. He didn't show up for Miami either. He's showing flashes of his career best with the Pacers, but he's being forced to handle the ball too much because sometimes Watson and Ford can't cut it. That plus the injuries is a bad combination.

I'm concerned about the pressure that's on him right now with Granger being out. Must be hard to deal with.

He's just tired. His knee seems fine, I just think the NBA schedule is catching up to him. He's been out a long time so he's just getting used to playing so much.

I don't agree with monitoring a players minutes. I think it's dumb. If a coach has to monitor them, then the player shouldn't be in the game. If Dunleavy is hot and his minutes are "up," should he be benched?
Nah, I don't like the idea. Monitor his minutes in practice and once he's good to go put him in the game. Just my 2 cents.
