Instead of Turner/Henry, we could still come out with Wes Johnson/Xavier Henry with two top 10 picks and any number of very good prospects with the charlotte pick (and yes, I know that right now we don't get the bobcats pick, but I expect them to grab the 8th playoff seed).

I get it was a general point about picking up a couple wings, I'm just curious as to why people seem to treat it as a foregone conclusion that Turner will be a part of this draft class. I'll acknowledge a change in thinking is possible after getting hurt, but aside from that I have yet to hear a good reason why he'd leave a chance at a championship on the table given just about everything he and others have said, and that he already turned down a chance to be a top 6 pick in order to come back to a team picked in the upper middle class of the Big Ten.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

OK, 3 top-17 picks then... :)

In shrink's original deal here it has UTAH's pick going to IND. So we would have our pick, IND and CHA.

I think buying the Hornets pick (let's say #12) with cap space is fairly realistic as well.

It'd never happen, but for you guys that love the draft, how would you create a 2010 roster with 4 Top 17 picks and Pekovic? Let's say #3, #7, #11, and #17?

Isnt the IND pick currently #5? Regardless, I think IND is only 2 games ahead of the wolves right now. Either way I would think IND would want to put a protection on it. What is fair value for this deal?

With 4 picks I might rather try and trade up a little bit while picking up a 2010 2nd rounder as well. I would really like it if the wolves started stock piling assets in Europe each year. If we could trade up with 11 and 17...I wouldnt mind seeing something like Turner/Aminu/Aldrich. Or basically Wing/Wing/Center.
