Oklahoma City Thunder @ Washington Wizards 12/29/09

Revenge game at home for the Wizards, we took them apart in the fourth quarter of the last game.

Shows how much our bench has evolved since then, Kevin Ollie and Etan Thomas got major minutes in that game. Serge Ibaka got zero and of course Eric Maynor wasn't around.

Let's get four in a row!

Durant has 23 points at the half on just 10 shots from the field. THunder down two though, this isn't the Nets though. Someone else on the team has to show up just a little bit for us to get a win.

Well the pattern is developing, lax defensive effort in the first half, clamp down toward the end of the game. The mark of a good team..

Great production off the bench made up for some questionable effort early on. Four in a row! Bring on Utah.

I love that we are actually closing games out now. It seems like what happened to the Wizards tonight happened to us like 30 times last season where we were in a close game and we stop scoring while the opposing team goes on a big run

agreed, we are playing like a top 10 team right now, but against the top teams we cant play like this we need to bring it earlier. Utah will be tough, although its at home so its not quite as bad.........

also Its Maynor's homecoming. I wonder if he has revenge on his mind and if he plays better or worse because of it. Also depends how much time Brooks gives him.

Westbrook had a near triple double but really it came down to Durant, Durant, Durant.

KD kept us in it when we were stinking but the bench played super great. Collison, Maynor, even Harden played well.

I honestly think Brooks is telling him to be aggressive and try and take his man to the hole. There is no other reason he would be doing what he is doing IMO. In college and early in the season he was making nice passes. I think the coach just wants him to get used to finishing around the rim because he sucks at that right now lol.

Just checked out the standings OKCin the 9th seed with a 17-14 record.

Utah is sitting at 17-13, this next game could put the Thunder in the playoff hunt. Let's make it 5 in a row baby!

look at our schedule we could realistically be 22-15 by the time we play San Antonio. I doubt we win 10 straight, but 5-1 over the next 6 is possible right?

vs Utah
@ Milwaukee
@ Chicago
vs New Orleans
vs Indiana
vs New York

before we play the Spurs...

If we don't lose to Utah I think we lose to the Bulls and/or Bucks.. Bulls have looked better lately, and they have Tyrus Thomas back.

yeah I think 5-1 is realistically possible but if I had to guess I would say we go 4-2 during this stretch. Which would have us at 21-16 not bad at all.

BUT now that I say that and do some more research, New York is playing much better as well they are 9-5 last 14 games........

New Orleans has CP3 back, still not a great team but he scares me....

As you said Chicago is doing decent lately and has DRose. However Milwaukee is doing really bad lately especially Brandon Jennings...

4-2, but 3-3 could be a possibility, still not too bad....

Raptors fan here, I have to say I am really impressed with the way the Thunder are playing. I really hope you guys beat out the Utah Jazz for the 8th Spot or possibly even higher! The Thunder are quickly becoming one of my favorite teams to watch. Good Luck!
