If we can get these next 2 games against ATL....I think it would really make a statement to the league and more importantly would put ATL in the rear view mirror in terms of seeding.

The losses for them would basically count double, and it's almost like a mini-playoff series...combine that with the fact we swept them 4-0 last year getting these two back to back games would be a huge mental edge in our favor.

Lastly after these next 2 our schedule becomes cupcake city so we would be in GREAT SHAPE seeding wise.

Not gonna be easy to do though. Especially now that they got Jamal Crawford...he owns us.

We didn't sweep last year, we were 3-1 but yeah, taking both would be wonderful

Atlanta just doesn't match up well with us, we werre 7-1 against them last year. However they have gotten better this year with better chemistry so I'm sure they'll put up a fight in these two games.

The playoffs were a different thing. They weren't 100%

I'm still not sure that the acquisition of Crawford is enough to make up for the Cavs front line dominance.

I just noticed that Crawford is averaging nearly 17 PPG coming off the bench.. This game will be more of a challenge than I thought.. It looks like Delonte will need to come up big for us.

Yea and they also added other depth guys like Teague and Smiley Joe Smith. Their bench is pretty good. The biggest thing for the Hawks is their talent is finally maturing. They've always had some real good talent, they just didn't play smart and together well enough. Tempo will key in the game, the Hawks will want to run as much as possible. I would force feed Shaq the ball early and hope to get Horford in foul trouble. The Hawks backcourt will certainly give Mo, Delonte, and Parker trouble. They just don't have the size though to defend our bigs. Definate contrast in styles. Most likely a split with both winning at home. The way the Cavs have played lately though, I think the Cavs can win both.

As usual the Cavs come in and immediately fall behind they are doing a terrible job in transition defense.

We'd be winning this game if we could rebound at all

Seriously, how smart is Josh Smith if he's jumping to contest a shot from outside by Varejao?

Too many turnovers, five already for the Cavs. Interesting the Hawks fans are going to boo LeBron every time he touches it. That is a good omen for us, usually when the fans get on Bron. He takes over. Hopefully it happens again.

I know right? I could have sworn Hawks fans were chanting MVP for LeBron in the playoffs.

It kills me to see Joe Smith on another team... Oh well, we are down 3, yet we are shooting 60% from the field.. Atlanta? 47.8%.

I really do like this team alot, but they do a ton of bad passes looking for the highlight play. One of the few grips to have with it.

Return to Cleveland Cavaliers
