A real classless move in my opinion. I can't think of any justification for doing this. But come on, was the $25,558 really that big of a deal for management to make this decision?

This organization makes me sick. This was entirely a terrible decision on the organization's part. I know Williamson hasn't played up to his potential but atleast give the guy a shot on offense. They called no plays for him the game before vs the Eagles and now he goes to plan his grandmother's funeral and also visit his brother who has been in and out of a coma for two months and the Vikings decide Williamson has to pay to do so?

I am sadened by this.

I don't think AP will have to appear on the cover of Madden 2009 for the karma to start coming fierce on this franchise now.

That is unbelievably low.

It seems the Vikes had a change of heart. They refunded him the check and Williamson will now donate the money to a charity in honor of his grandmother.

This is good news but the whole series of events should have never taken place. Just another reason for the media to bash a MIN sports team...

It was reported today that Chilly called Tony Dungy for advice. But not until after he made his initial boneheaded decision and it became public.

Hey Chilly if you are going to call Dungy for advice, why not have him give you some COACHING advice.
