nWo to invade TNA? (Rumor)

- TNA wrestling are prepared to give Scott Hall one more chance with the company, and earlier this month Kevin Nash posted a teaser on Twitter where he name dropped not only Scott Hall, but also Sean Waltman.

With Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Kevin Nash and now possibly Scott Hall and Sean Waltman, we could be seeing the reunion of the NWO on the January 4th episode of Impact.

- Press Release:
The Sr. VP of Talent Relations for WWE {NYSE:WWE} John Laurinaitis, who is in charge of hiring and recruiting all WWE talent, will pay a one {1} day visit to Ohio Valley Wrestling {OVW} on January 6, 2010 from 10am-2pm to evaluate and scout for potential WWE Superstars.

After John Laurinaitis’ last visit, John talked with OVW talent at length concerning various subjects. First and foremost, WWE still has a healthy, active relationship with OVW. WWE has not forgotten both the quantity and quality of stars who earned their way to the top by first passing through the doors of Davis Arena, and Laurinaitis expressed that he believed that OVW is still one of the premiere places in the world in which to receive an education in professional wrestling.

- The only version of Smackdown vs Raw 2010 that made the Top 20 in October was the Xbox 360 version. Sales are down all round from last year.

- There are now plans in place for Abraham Washington to start wrestling, as well as doing his show. He told FCW fans that he’d be hitting the ring in 2010.

Personally I think bringing back the nWo to a company that isn't even legitimately mainstream yet would be a big mistake. You can't try to turn the company mainstream while having an nWo takeover of the company at the same time. Just wouldn't be a good angle in my opinion.

Also interesting to see that Abe Washington is going to hit the ring. The dude is a big guy, so if he has any ring skills at all, he could go over pretty well considering he's money on the mic.

I'm sure Vince would be happy about this. Copying another league's idea makes them appear to be a third-rate organization, so I'll just assume this is false.

I like it for some odd reason. I'm a big fan of X-pac, Scottie Hall and rest of NWO.

Too early. They need the ratings first before they do that.

for the sake of tna i hope they do try and do a nwo reunion.

maybe they should remember wwe owns everything nwo related and would sue the pants off them for royalties and copyright infringement.

tna continues to get more and more bush league.

hulk hogan is saying january 4th will be the start of the monday night wars. and if that is the case wwe already has them beat.

tna is just signing old, washed up guys to be there "stars" ala wcw, while wwe has spent the better part of a year developing young guys (punk, kofi, mcintyre, morrison, legacy, etc.) and has younger, more athletic stars already in place (cena, orton, mysterio, dx, etc.)

DX and Mysterio are younger, more athletic stars? Every time I see HBK go for his kick I can hear his hamstrings screaming Uncle.
