Happy New Year!!

Post#1 » by Zerocious » Thu Dec 31, 2009 8:18 pm

Yep, one more night nights and it's 20-10.

Thanks for the good times even during the bad times. I spend a lot of time online, but no place more than on realgm.

Thanks for a great year, let's hope we'll have some thing to be cheery about this time next year!

Go Wiz!

Same to you, Zerocious, and the rest of the board.

I think most of us would be either depressed or completely uninterested in the Wizards if it weren't for this forum.

And can it really get any worse in 2010? I mean, really....

Wizards on pace to a 27-55 record. If someone told me adding Arenas, Haywood, Miller, Foye, and Oberto to last year's squad would...

I agree with the above sentiments; my first year participating (after years of lurking) has made the insufferability of being a Wizards fan just barely sufferable. Thanks all and Happy New Year.

in the words of flip saunders: 'don't think it can get any worse, because it can get plenty worse, do not be mistaken'....

hopefully he's wrong!

Happy new year, just woke up in 2010 so I guess I beat you guys to it (I actually met this lady once, Asia - forget where, who was really proud that she was a day ahead of Americans. I got a chuckle out of that).

I drank coffee last night made from beans that had been digested by a long eared cat instead of champagne; damn strong stuff, I guess that's why I'm awake now. Don't worry, they clean it off nice n' good, or at least that's what the lady who sells it said.

Going into 2010 with a 10-20 record. Coincidence...I think not!!

Sad but true...

How many on this board thought the Wiz would be 20-10, not 10-20?

:noway:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Question answered.

And it's only day-1 of 2010.

Some of us had a hard year in 2014, but our team is doing pretty well right now, so maybe things are looking up (I pulled up this old thread to emphasize the contrast). A big Happy New Year to CCJ and Raf, and to all my friends on the Wiz board, which is to say, to everyone here.

I'm not much of a college football fan, and tonight's NBA games don't interest me, so I guess it's a no sports day. Tomorrow, it's back to the grind. Please start the year off right, Wizards.
